We had a delicious lunch here. Pho Tam is a great choice for unfussy Vietnamese food at a reasonable price.

It's fairly typical of Vietnamese family restaurants with mint green walls and diner tables organized in a grid. The restaurant was clean and tidy with only some tableside condiment bottles noted as needing a wipe. There was nothing to distract from the meal and the restaurant is reminiscent of what is typical in Vietnam.

Service was excellent. We were seated immediately upon entry and provided menus. They also post specials on the walls, which offer the diner a combination of food at a good price. Once we placed our order, the food arrived in a matter of minutes. This is the place to go if your time is limited.

Our food arrived fresh and delicious. The Pho was very tasty, with good portions of rice noodles and meats. The side of bean sprouts, basil, lemon, and hot pepper was on point for our dishes and what is traditionally expected. The salad roll was also well put together and Pho Tam has not fallen into the trap of just filling the roll with rice noodles. This roll had lots of meat and shrimp, lettuce and herbs, and a proper proportion of rice noodles. The spring roll was hot and crispy, with pork and other savory ingredients. Portions were large and you may want to consider sharing dishes.

We left satisfied and both declaring that Pho Tam would be a repeat for us. It's nice to find a Vietnamese restaurant that offers the flavors this food style is famous for. It's not a trendy place with fusion dishes served on little plates by young ladies in little black dresses. Pho Tam is good food, served in a traditional way, by people that are happy to welcome you at the door. A strong recommendation from us. Try them and I think...

I've been going to Surrey One, but now I’ll be attending Langley since, unfortunately, Surrey is closing down, and the owner, who’s the mother, is retiring. I heard it will stay open for another 15 years, so I’ll be coming here more often until it shuts down. Always love Pho Tam! ❤️ ^-^

May 11 – I used to be a regular customer at the Surrey location, and those were some of the best experiences I've had. Unfortunately, the Langley Pho location has been disappointing. The staff here have shown a noticeable lack of respect, even toward long-time customers. It's disheartening to see such a change in attitude and service. -I will no longer come here. Only upside is the girl owner who just came in around 11:30 with black shirt is nice, and the guy with whitecaps shirt.

DOES NEW GIRL WORKERS ARE RUDE! I HATE THEM. THEY BROUGHT SHAME TO THIS COMPANY!!!!

I am happy that the rude girl worker isn't there...

Came here today. Thought we’d try something different, as we usually go to another Vietnamese restaurant in Langley, that is also very good. But I have to say, this place has now taken the top spot. Had the Bun Bo Hue, and it was fantastic. Lots of flavors; perfect amount of spice; lots of basil given (usually places just give a tiny bit); and a lot of meat in the soup. What made this place stand out to me was the quality of the meat; it had the taste and texture of a higher quality meat than you usually find in most places. The texture was actually a real meat texture; it felt rich, as opposed to something previously frozen and limp. Also had the fried spring rolls and everyone was correct: I think these are up there with the best I’ve had in Vietnam.

This place is a hidden gem. And it will personally be my new ‘go-to’ in Langley. Looking forward to trying some of their other...

My heart sank after Pho Tam closed down in Surrey but luckily this location stayed open! The last time I was here I had to eat my pho in the car because they needed proof of COVID-19 vaccination....years have gone by in a flash and we were greeted by a full restaurant and reminiscent of Surrey, a long table for 2 (they use the empty end of the table to set down other nearby tables orders this way) The broth is very beefy and the noodles are qq. I wished they had an XL sized pho dac biet because the large wasn't enough for me lol This is an hour drive away so we only get to enjoy pho tam if we are in the area not eating at mrA's lol
