Indian Accent Restaurant — Restaurant in City of Langley

Me and my husband ordered chole batuhre and amritsari kulche there were 4 tiny hair on the the salad, we call woman name Jaspreet she only changed salad from the plate where she saw hair and she didn’t change whole food which was also part of same food we found hair in. Also We ask medium hot and food was very spicy I started coughing in the parking lot very badly after eating there, we both got sick right away when get home, me and husband were sick for 6 days straight, I call to their manager his name Dinesh, he talked to me very badly that people like us come from India to get free food, when all I want to talk owner about our bad experience, there staff specifically manager Dinesh and JASPREET were very hostile and rude.Manager completely denied that was only one hair and he said that they offer us to change whole food but my my husband said it’s ok, they’re lying on my face without any shame. They don’t even admit they’re wrong. They first serve us unhygienic food make us sick and then accusing us that we’re looking excuses to get free food or money. I have filled complaint to health and safety about there unsafe food procedure finding hair in the food and very bad food poisoning. Also I want to mention that since I posted review they are threatening me that I’m ruining their image and they will take me to court, it’s my right to review about service I got from them. I have recordings of all my conversations with them. And they started lying that I’m posting reviews from others accounts I have just this review they deleted it or reported it so I’m rewriting my review to aware everyone that these people threatened me take me court so I’m scared and delete my review. I also have doctors report when we got sick next day after eating their food. I never reviewed negative to any business before even after bad experience but only reason I have to review here because they start threatening. They’re very offended by my review but they were okay when manager was yelling at me on the phone. Now they’re lying about their story and also getting fake reviews everyday so my review won’t be noticed.Such a shame. There’s so many people reviewed months ago or even year ago before us, they got sick after eating their food and got food poisoning. Indian Accent restaurant getting fake reviews probably paid reviews from india lol. Don’t believe these reviews saying all the sudden good about hygiene and cleanliness ever since I complained about their food unhygiene and getting sick. All these reviews are paid or they probably give them free food for good reviews lol. Check all these previous reviews who got sick with their food. Normally good Buisness would appreciate feedback but these people are arguing with mostly everyone whoever speaks truth about bad experience they get offended. Is this the way any good business person handle the situation? Do you guys think it’s appropriate ? Like for every single person whoever review negative previously they’re not taking feedback and assuring to improve their service or issues. How many people before me find hair in the food and even plastic in rice and someone posted the picture as well. How it’s normal that many people got sick after eating their food not just us.If you guys still eat here and get sick after eating here then Please complaint to health department and take pictures of food, go to doctor right away and get doctor reports.I don’t recommend this...

The food was delicious and I can’t do hot but warm was yummy. My friend who is familiar with Indian food helped me with my order. Very reasonable in cost and we were full after - each getting a lunch combo. There were buttons at each table to call the server who was in the back kitchen. She also came by regularly to ask how things were. Omg i make buttered chicken at home with a jar from Costco so I tried their lamb & curry sauce which was deep with flavour. Juicy tender lamb. So good. There was a side dish of lentils where my friend had chick peas. I could eat my lentils every day with roti. My favourite was desert! Gulab Jamun - small donut hole soaked in warm sauce. Very rich in flavour. Sooo good! At the end of the meal there was a dish of micro candies and spice mix which is to clear your breath to nice and fresh. Wow! I took a spoon of it and it really does cleanse the palate! Amazing. I couldn’t take it and put mine in my napkin immediately (sorry) but my friend had 3 handfuls and crunched through it happily. I suggest everyone try. The only uncomfortable thing was I met my friend early and she had eaten breakfast at the hotel so we decided to go walking before a 1 pm lunch. I went in to ask/notify that the big white truck in their parking lot was mine and could I leave it there while I go with my friend in her car. I said we would come back to eat at one. We actually came back at 12:30. When leaving after a delicious lunch i found a note on my truck saying I could have been towed at my own expense and it is from the restaurant 🤷🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️. It was a delicious meal so I didn’t make a fuss. Next time I would leave my license number? We only walked - no shopping. I will return...

It was our first time ordering from here as it was a little closer to home vs driving to our favorite Indian spot ( Masala Boyz ) Upon pick up, I had to wait for am extra 10 minutes onto of the 30 minutes i was told over the phone. I ordered the kids garlic wings , butter chicken and Naan. So I noticed there was no garlic flavoring on the wings . So I called to tell.them , then spoke to the cook/owner who wasn't listening and argumentive. He said to come back and he will put sauce on the remainder of the wings . I said no I won't do that as we have already started to eat our other food and if I leave and come back our food will be cold . Then started to raise his voice what do you expect me to do . I suggested to remake it or offer a discount next time if I order. He refused . He wanted my address , he wanted me to bring the remainder of the wings back to him to inspect. This raised some red flags for me . The rest of the food was good but tasted very familiar to me then I realized it tastes like the butter chicken sauce from Costco. The Naan wasn't made at the restaurant..it was ready made and toasted on the pan. It was good though ..I wonder where they bought the Naan. Over all I won't order from them again based on the Owners attitude,lack of accountability and the fact the items I ordered are pre-made which I'm sure was all bought from Costco including the wings. Go to an authentic Indian...
