Veerji Fish 'n' Grill — Restaurant in City of Langley

Disappointed by our first Langley Indian food experience. Wish I would've caught all the fake google reviews before we ordered takeout. Bit short staffed which we told them we were okay with a longer wait.. the veg pakora was my saving grace bc everything else was too spicy even though I asked for things to be no hotter than mild spice. Garlic naan was soggy and bland. Biriyani was unnecessarily way too spicy. First time ordering paneer tikka achari and doesn't look anything like images here or elsewhere on google.. Which now makes me think the Google images on their Google Maps business are stock photos and not of their own. The golgappe looked nothing like the images they have added on here. We had samosas there on Saturday which were so tasty and freshly made that we decided to go back again the next day and order complete dinner. We ordered a veg thali, non-veg thali, Tandoori Fish and samosas. The food was so bad this time, it was cold not fresh. Except for the fish the thali's were complete disappointment, our Naan bread was not cooked properly. My entire family was food poisoned after consuming this food last evening. Such a disappointment as it clearly indicates that this place runs on a hit or miss basis. I had assumed that this will be our go to Indian restaurant all the time but unfortunately, yesterday's experience will never lead us back to that...

Such a weird place to order. My husband placed an order tonight and when he hung up he’s like that was weird seemed like the chick didn’t want us ordering. She kept saying “ok.. it’s going to take some time… like 45 minutes “. He’s like ok sure no problem. Then we sent someone to pick it up and they said they cancelled the order. Apparently they called back to ask for “interact details” to get payment before? And no one picked up so they cancelled the order … No one called us Never had even the biggest of restaurants ask for details like that for simple order of fish and chicken. We had guests waiting for food for extra 30 minutes
