It was as if they were preparing for the end of days, stashing every other chip in an underground bunker. Maybe there’s a chip shortage I wasn’t informed about? Maybe Doritos are now a rare delicacy served only to royalty and raccoons?

However, after spending ten minutes trying to access the deal online, I informed them that their online system wasn't working. They acknowledged that they didn’t have that deal available online either. It felt as though they were intentionally withholding information from me, or perhaps just playing games. In the end, I had to pay the regular price for my sub, and I was charged extra on top of that.
The teriyaki chicken was also part of the deal at the outlet, yet I was still charged for it unless I caught the error myself. Instead of apologizing and correcting the mistake, the employee simply handed me my change without acknowledging the error.
