Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Collingwood

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER & HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. This was by far the worst dining experience I've ever had. We ordered pizza and were told it would be here in 45 minutes to an hour. After an hour and a half had gone by, I called pizza hut and spoke to an employee who told me they were just backed up and that it would be on it's way soon. After 2 hours had passed, our pizza had still not arrived so I called the restaurant again and spoke to the same unhelpful employee who told me that they use a delivery company and that the delivery company is backed up and that our food had left the restaurant a while ago. I asked him if he thought our pizza would be cold and soggy at this point and he agreed, I asked if there is anything he could do for us about giving us our food for free at this point and he dodged my question so I asked again and he said he would have to talk to the manager. Then he proceeded to tell me that if it still hadn't arrived in another 10 mins, to call him back. So I called back for a 4th time to see where my food was and the employee finally offered to call the delivery company to see what was happening. He told me to give him a couple minutes while he called (why weren't they already calling?? - again they are clueless) so I called back again for a 5th time for an update and spoke to the less than helpful manager who told me they had the wrong address. I told her this was unacceptable and at this point it had been almost 3 hours since we ordered our food. I had to fight with her to get her to agree to give us our meal for free at this point and then she said she would give me 50% off my next meal if I ever choose to order with them again - yeah right. And that my pizza would be on the way in a while because they would have to wait for the driver to come back and remake the pizza. AND THE BEST PART??? AFTER ALL THAT OUR PIZZA NEVER SHOWED UP! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. No one should ever support this restaurant because the fact that they can straight up lie to a customer and tell them their food is on the way, and then have it not show up, and get away with it is absolute insanity. It's a good thing we ordered LITTLE CAESAR'S pizza instead, it was actually way better, cheaper and we actually got our food as we ordered it. LITTLE CAESAR'S PIZZA...

Worst Pizza Hut and poor excuse of a restaurant in Collingwood. Doesn't even deserve a star. My elderly folks wanted to dine in at good ol' Pizza Hut and we found it on 275 First St. Walked in at 5:45pm and we were denied service... Even though there were three tables open -- two of which were waiting for food. Right beside the cash register without a cashier; there was a wooden booth saying "Please wait to be seated" and a paper taped atop it read: "Dining area is closed after 6pm". Apologies? Nowhere to be seen. Customer presence was utterly unnoticed/unappreciated to this business: not just my group, there have been three other groups who entered and left fuming with anger. -2 from this poor excuse of an dine-in eatery, and WHERE IS THE MENU?? THE NEW DAILY $10 DEALS??? (only after arriving back and on TV advertisement I saw I just had wasted money) a -1 from the employee who totally ignored the constant phonecalls from two of the phones beside the register for our entire length of 30 minute wait time (we were told our order would be ready in 20 minutes) -1 he forgot to give SPC discount and had to be reminded twice; only at the end he cashed out. Again, no apologies. HOW DO YOU TRAIN, NO, HOW DO YOU EVEN HIRE THESE PEOPLE?? Do you know why I put people instead of person? It's because not just the order taker; the pizza maker/cook that worked in the back... not only did she put miniscule amount of green peppers I ordered, SHE DIDN'T PUT ANY PEPPERONI!!!! ARRRRGHHHH ... Saving grace, I thought they've got the order correctly because the front man confidently said: "Here's your large cheese crust PEPPERONI green peppers and honey garlic bites, sir...(before he dismissed us I had to remind him of the SPC deal)" I thought they did their job right this time. And most other pizza places DO SHOW THE PIZZA at the cashier... This one makes the exception. #smh. Scatterbrained. I would've went back and argued if my folks weren't hungry and tired. -1 I wish you can give it a no star. I think the front man's name was Cliff... That's what the receipt said. I am coming back to a Pizza hut... but Never coming back to this one. I do not recommend ordering...

We went to this Pizza Hut location, thinking we will get what we requested and paid for it. However; that was not our experience at all. Here is what happened. We ordered the following pizza.

Grilled Chicken Arrabbiata Grilled chicken breast, crisp green peppers, grilled red peppers, red onions, pesto marinated tomatoes, chili flakes & ...

As you can see the name of the Pizza starts with Grilled Chicken, the first item listed as a topic is Chicken. But that is not what we got. Instead we got a veggie pizza with couple of chicken pieces that were dropped on our pizza ( Please see the attached pics). At first, I did not want to say anything and let it go. But the more we looked at the pizza, the more we realized that we are taken for a ride. So, I went to the cashier and told her about the issue. she came to our table, I showed her the pizza and told her if she can point to the chicken on this pizza. Here reply was that they use pre portion cups for the topics and there is nothing that she can do about it. There was not attempt to ratify this and add the chicken that we paid for (nothing more). I must point out that the service is really poor at this location as well. After they delivered the pizza and the drinks, nobody checked on us to see if everything is OK, if we need anything else or even if we need any refills for our drinks and water. Bottom line, this place provides poor service and they have "I Do Not Care Attitude." I guess when you are in a small town with interesting attraction, you can have that kind of attitude and you will know that people will still come to dine...
