Had an awesome Hawaiian pizza and service by Brie. I loved the flavors in the pizza sauce which was not your typical bland tomato sauce. The crust was terrific with perfectly cooked and again a unique slight sweetness to it. The toppings could have been a tiny bit more plentiful such as the pineapple but overall the blend of flavors was excellent and ratios ok but I thought the onions were overly generous. The bacon was crispy and while I prefer a ball of sausage (sausage bomb) over the crumbly sausage the sausage was flavorful. Beer selection was excellent but not written down and only displayed by cans and bottle on a shelf so I had to take a picture of them all and go back to my table and that worked. Brie was very professional and skilled. She was energetic, friendly and welcoming. She provided her honest opinion on what she likes which I appreciate being a first time visitor. She was running between the take out and dine in areas with skill and she always checked in on us and was very attentive and anticipatory of our needs. Atmosphere scored lower because it is cramped and the seating was limited. Some folks had to wait. We did not. Highly recommend and...
Read moreI was admittedly a bit excited to try out my first restaurant in Dawson after arrive a few hours earlier. So my expectations may have been a little high. However, at $11.50 for two slices of pizza and a small slushy, I was left a bit disappointed.
One slice seemed reasonably fresh and was enjoyed, but the other had been in the warmer for atleast an hour. "Warmed" to the point were the crust became dried out and hard, and the rest of it dehydrated. I guess that's why the guy stacked the fresh piece over the stale one... So I wouldn't notice until I got back to the RV.
I realize this is a very small tourist town, but a) it's peak tourist season; and B) if you're charging $4.00 for a single small slice of pizza (a small slushy was $3.50), you best be making sure you're keeping your "carryout" stock fresh. Heck, 7-11 does a better job at keeping their warm food turned over so customers don't get...
Read moreOrdered pizza for takeout on the counter where they have general store items too.The lady at the counter was very rude. She was nice to the other caucasian woman customer who was ahead of us in line but probably she thought people of color don't deserve to be treated with basic respect.I didn't know I would be treated like an unwanted customer otherwise I wouldn't have given tip at the time of placing order. There was anyways no option to skip tip on their payment terminal. By the way Pizza was average and we had stomach pain after eating it. Its ridiculous that tip is expected on takeout orders but she can't give basic respect to customers. If you are an Asian reading this review, then I recommend avoiding this pizza place unless there is no...
