I came here from out of town last Saturday night, and went and ordered 3 jager shots. The best way to describe the female bartender that served me was dark short hair/half shaved hair, baggy t shirt and unhealthy weight. After I ordered the shots, the bartender literally yelled across the whole bar â SHE DOESNâT TIP!â Which was very unprofessional as I have worked in the serving industry myself and also embarrassing/awkward as were out-of-towners and looking to know the city. After this, my boyfriend ordered the same 3 shots, and the same thing happened, except this time she yelled âHE ALSO DOESNâT TIPâ as she knew we were together. We normally tip but being in a bigger city, we learn to tip and when not to tip.
This was a terrible experience at the Pit, even considering this was the place â to goâ. I would not recommended to go here if you want to be embarrassed by the bartender and called out. I donât understand how anyone can keep a job after this. I hope management can be aware of the server and this behaviour I...

Imagine driving 10+ hours along the Klondike expecting to get to a serene miner town only to be greeted by a bar FULL of young, old, scruffy, clean, locals and travelers having the gayest old time. Part of me still canât believe what magical portal I walked through.
Not to mention the BEAUTIFUL artwork and details put into the decorations, and of course the highlight for me was Hailey the bartender who offered me hot water when I was cold and her own personal ramen when I mentioned I hadnât eaten.
You likely wonât find gold in Dawson, but rest assured something better waits for you behind these...
Read moreThere are two different bars in one. The first side on the left was excellent. Our bartender was generous and friendly, and there was a great eclectic atmospheric inside. I would recommend going to the bar side. The second side on the right is more of a local hangout/kinda club and we did not stay long. It was like a cross between a club and a highschool basement party. They didnât play dance music and if you werenât a local, it wasnât the most welcoming. I would definitely recommend going to the bar side, but the club side, which is a separate entrance, the average tourist can do...
