Delta Bakery — Restaurant in Delta

Bought and tasted the glazed, strawberry filled and apple fritter. Totally disappointed, wasted my sugar quota. I tried the glazed first and I can honestly say that Krispy Kreme was 100% better. The strawberry filled doughnut was disgusting. The filling did not taste anything remotely close to strawberry. Save yourself some money and get smuckers strawberry jam as it is way better. I left the apple fritter last as i read that this was the bakery's specialty; I was very disappointed again. The three items had a common taste - old oil.

I recently stopped by Delta Bakery to give it a try, but unfortunately, my experience was a bit underwhelming. The place itself didn’t look particularly delicious or attractive, which didn't make it all that inviting. The selection was limited, and I was disappointed to find that the assortments didn’t seem very fresh. I opted for a donut with jam, but it was overly sugary, and the jam itself tasted cheap. Another Spinach feta bun wasn't good as well. The texture and flavor also felt off, which led me to believe they might be using margarine instead of butter. Been here a few times now and had a different experience each time. The owner (older lady with glasses) made us feel very uncomfortable. She just doesn't seem happy to help us and doesn't smile. But putting that aside we made a purchase (to support local). The other times a younger lady helped us and was very cheerful! (We loved her customer service!) Unfortunately the apple fritter was great a few times but the last 2 times it was very oily. I don't know if they let it sit in old oil but made us feel very gross afterwards.
