McDonald's — Restaurant in District Municipality of Muskoka

Update: went through drive thru Jan, 3 2025. Had my order repeated back to me, they parked us to wait for food. Received my food and every burger was made wrong. Went through a second time, I wrote down the order this time so language was not an issue, reordered and they repeated it back to me, parked again to wait. Again our food was made wrong. We went through a third time, parked once again to wait, finally recieved the right order. At this time it had been over 30mins before we recieved the right order. We are outrageously disappointed.. I have never been so displeased and regretted ever coming to this location. They have some decent staff, but turns out that night not a single one was present. I don’t foresee myself ever returning since they don’t do anything to rectify the situation. The company never reaches out to me regarding these experiences. I don’t write about each experience. Only the really really bad ones. So I guess I’ll leave it up to the company to fix things. Though I won’t hold my breath..

Every single staff member was working drive-thru. Served atleast five cars, while I waited nearly 10 minutes before someone came to take my order.

When I got home, and pulled the burgers from the bag, they were all smeared to the side, burger half on the bun, each patty was hardly half way covering the other. There was sauces absolutely covering 2 thirds of the total outside of the bun. We had to wipe down our buns before we could eat.

Honestly 1-10 times my order is right and service is good at the same time. Otherwise, I’m constantly disappointed. The Company does nothing to compensate trash food. All they do is offer you a free meal “that will be made wrong” again. Not exactly...

This location has been consistently disappointing lately. You never receive what you ordered. They often serve off orders before handing them to you, likely to earn extra McDonald's points or whatever. The last time I was there, I overheard that they didn't have any hot water, which means they can't clean everything properly. I probably should have left as soon as I heard that, but I went ahead and ordered a Big Arch along with three friends. None of us received crispy onions on it, which is supposed to be a key feature of the Big Arch, and at 10$ thats ridiculous. Additionally, the burger was overly greasy compared to other McDonald's locations where I've ordered the same item. The fries were completely stale, and I ended up feeling very sick afterward, and spent many hours on the toilet. My friends also felt unwell after eating there. It’s not usually this bad, but recently, it has been terrible. I would not recommend anyone visit this location until they resolve...
