Not a great experience trying to book a large (23 people) reservation. I'm not sure how many large parties this restaurant has dealt with, or if it's just a communication issue amongst staff, but the experience has been extremely unpleasant.

I thought this would be a great place to have a birthday dinner, as it's new and has great reviews, and they seem to have the space for it. Unfortunately, I don't think they are quite set up just yet in dealing with larger reservations.

I reached out a month ago to try to plan this party. After I initially reached out to the restaurant I received a phone call from a man claiming to be the manager. The phone call itself was very confusing and he sounded like he has never booked a large party at the restaurant before. He kept mentioning how difficult it is to accommodate a large group. I asked questions related to a large party, For example, if there is a set menu, if a deposit is required, and if you do separate checks. He replied that if we don't want a set menu we don't have to have one and there is no deposit and you can do separate checks. He kept mentioning that if we don't do a set menu it might take longer for the food to come out. Which of course we are already aware of. This is not the first time booking a large party. He sounded like he did not want to accommodate a large party, to the point that during the call I straight out said "ok so it sounds like this isn't going to work?" He then said "no no. We would love to have your party. We just need a more confirmed number so we can plan better." Again, it was a very confusing call. So we ended the call with the agreement that I have the reservation booked and I will notify him closer to the date of a confirmed number. I emailed him back 2 weeks before the reservation date to confirm the number of 23 people. I didn't hear back for a few days so I called the restaurant. The lady said a manager will call me that day. I still had not heard anything. I received an email the next day from another Manager who said it's going to be busy that day and a non refundable deposit is required (didn't even say how much it would be). I directly asked the initial manager about a deposit and he said no. I emailed this manager back inquiring about a contact number to discuss, and have yet to receive a response. I feel like management should be on the same page when it comes to larger bookings, and also better communication...

I came in for a Monday afternoon lunch with a friend and was absolutely blown away by the decor—this space is stunning and truly creates a memorable atmosphere. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to linger a little longer just to take it all in.

We started with the Bison Sliders, which were good but not particularly remarkable. For my main, I had the Butternut Squash dish with Truffle Oil and added chicken. Unfortunately, the dish was overly oily, and I was surprised that protein wasn’t offered as a standard or optional add-on, especially for a feature main. Thankfully, our server was great and easily accommodated the request to add chicken from another salad option.

The biggest letdown for me was the menu itself—limited main selections and, surprisingly, several items were visibly crossed out with a sharpie. It felt out of place in such a visually refined space.

Overall, I’d return for the ambiance and maybe a drink or small plate, but I expected more from the food and presentation, especially given how visually impressive...

Came in for a birthday dinner this weekend. Our server had a great attitude and was so positive throughout our visit there.

The food however, I felt lacked some flavour and seasoning, and being up charged $3 for a lettuce wrap instead of a bun on my $24 burger, I thought was kind of strange since a whole head of lettuce is that price at Superstore…

Although the server was new (her second day as she mentioned), she did a fabulous job making sure drinks were topped up and food orders were made correctly. What fell really short was when we were trying to get our cheques cleared up at the end of the night, which took about half an hour. I can understand the complexity of a group of 10, however I feel like the manager on duty should have provided more guidance to help ensure the servers success, especially since it was fairly quiet by the time we had to depart to go to our next place that we were going to.

This place has a great atmosphere and décor, and with some fine tuning, I believe it could be a very...

This is a great new addition to the dining scene in downtown Edmonton. The location couldn’t be better, just a block away from Jasper Av. The interior decoration is very appealing and photogenic making the whole restaurant very instragrammable. The customer service is really good and Carla was very polite and nice. The menu offers a great variety of appetizers, soups & salads, burgers main courses and desserts. The chef is really into all the details making every single dish look amazing. I tried the Ahi Tuna Salad. The seared tuna was crunchy and tender and the salad was fresh and flavourful. The dessert couldn’t be better, I had the Dream Cake paired with a bold and dark cup of coffee. The perfect match. Plan to go back soon and try the chicken schnitzel.

I recently visited this restaurant and was truly impressed by the interior. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, with beautiful lighting and tasteful wall decorations. It’s a very photogenic space — perfect for a relaxed meal or a special outing. The food was okay, but not quite what I had hoped for in terms of flavor. That said, the service really stood out — our server was incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive, which made the experience much more enjoyable. With some improvements to the food, this place has great potential thanks to its beautiful setting and wonderful staff.

My co-workers and I ended up at Culinary Unicorn Kitchen after our meeting for lunch. Beautiful restaurant 😍. We reserved and was seated at our table right away. Our server was friendly and accommodating. Our food came at a reasonable time and it was delicious 🤤😊 My crispy chicken sliders were flavorful and crispy!! The restaurant was vibing!! Loved the decor and it was very spacious. Comfortable seating. We found out that they will have entertainment on Saturday nights with a piano bar/lounge vibe. We will definitely check this out!!
