We (mom, dad and two hungry teens) went last night for Tuesday's BOTTOMLESS FISH AND CHIPS. Hadn't been there since before Covid. Taylor kept the food coming and it was amazing. The batter on the pollock was just right...not too heavy, not greasy and wonderfully crisp. Big pieces! And everything (except the coleslaw 😉) came out HOT. We totally enjoyed the meal. And all for $19 each which is the same price as the 3-piece meal. We got our money's worth and more. Apparently Thursday is BOTTOMLESS FISH TACO day which sounds great, too. We may have to wander back over there soon. The place is under new management as of a couple of months ago. It's clean, bright, and freshly painted. It would have been nice to see it busier. I think a lot of businesses have had a hard time recovering from the shutdowns during Covid. So if you have a hankering for something from the sea, I would highly recommend you check them out. (For the record, no, we are not affiliated with them in any way. Just happy customers.) Joey's has partnered with Skip and Uber Eats (I think those were the two) so that's coming soon. And the new owners are just in the process of getting their liquor licence, so that's in the works as well. Thanks, Taylor for your great service. We'll be back.

Went there for supper, when you walk in there is a nice vibe to the place and the server was very friendly and welcoming, the colors are bright and inviting, We Ordered the fish and shrimp combo, which was a big disappointment, the fish was so thin and basically lost in a very very Heavy coating of batter with no seasoning what so ever. The batter to their credit was crispy, but on the downside, it was very oily and you could tell the oil was old from the smell. We ate the whole thing, so it’s not like you wanted to send the food back, but will I go back? No.

Order a king meal, figuring it was pollack and ended up with tofish. Thinking was actually FISH, not something else. Finding out after it's tofu I'm not impressed. I used to like going there any time soon. They even forgot the coleslaw. Maybe the menu should have more details or put under a vegetarian option so it's not under King meals. Ordered online I ordered it through google Maps on your location to the menu, and it wasn't a cheap order. For a birthday

My friends and I went for lunch. It was a mistake. We were the first 3 in there for lunch on Thursday. 2 of us ordered the all you can eat fish tacos and 1 ordered the Buddha bowl with shrimp. We were told the food would be ready in 10 minutes, almost 40 minutes later I had to tell them we had to leave to get back to work, which is when our food started to come out. The excuse we were given was that it was busy. Again we were the first 3 people in there and by the time we left, there was one other table of 2 people, and a table of 3 people that had just walked in before we left. My friend had asked for no chipotle sauce on her tacos- it was on them. The Buddha bowl my other friend ordered was incredibly small. Like small small- for $18. For reference you can go next door to chopped leaf or freshie or whatever and get the same thing for $16 and it is like 10 times bigger. Anyways, the Buddha bowl was inedible. She could tell everything has been frozen and heated up quickly which turned it to mush. My other friend and I didn’t have time to order anymore tacos so we asked to change the orders from the all you can eat to the street tacos. We still lost money as the street tacos come with 3 tacos and we were only served 2. The order of halloumi fries I ordered for $12 were so salty, I could only eat 2. They also withheld the order of regular fries that come with the tacos. They comped the Buddha bowl but we paid for everything else. All in all I personally paid $30 for garbage. And my friend paid for her tacos as well. The ladies working were very nice but unfortunately that will not be enough to have us back. This was also my first time at a Joey’s...

I live just a few minutes from the manning location but have always been ordering from this place (through skip the dish) just because they were slightly better with everything overall (quality/taste, more condiments, etc.) Today's order has gone completely downhill, however. Literally everything, fish, chips and fries were unbelievably soggy. Especially the fries, they were really wet and soft. It was our first time ordering gravies for the fries and the amount was not so generous for $1.75 each while I remember the Manning location gave us a lot more gravy for FREE for ordering $30 and more. The amount of wild rice pilaf was ridiculous too. While I think the cup they use for packing pilaf itself is very small for the price (I would never order as a side for $4.75. Just not worth it), I am fully aware of the size of the cup from previous orders so it wouldn't have been a disappointment to me. This time, however, the cup wasn't even full. Not sure if it is just this one time that they have gone down with the quality. They have been fairly consistently great previously. I don't think I would risk ordering from here again to find it out though. I'll just order my future meals from the...
