On Oct 31, I ordered a Dave’s Double and redeemed a Dave’s Single using a survey validation code. I also scanned my own rewards code to apply the "$1 for 1 Small Lemonade" offer. Despite it being added, the price wasn’t reduced, likely due to only 1 promo being allowed per order.
Upon realizing this, I asked for a refund. Since the food was already being prepared, the cashier only refunded the $2.10 overcharge for the lemonade—in COINS. This was extremely unhygienic, inconvenient, and frankly disrespectful. I had to touch those coins before eating, even though I don’t use cash at all in daily life.
Here’s how I was overcharged: What I should’ve paid: $8.99 (Dave’s Double) + $1 (Lemonade offer) + $0.50 (tax) = $10.49 What I actually paid: $8.99 + $3.09 (full lemonade price) + $0.60 (tax) - $2.10 (refund) = $10.58 This results in a $0.09 overcharge.
While this is a small amount, it reflects the lack of care and professionalism from your staff. This incident shows blatant disregard for customers. Just because not everyone has the time to defend every penny like I do, doesn’t mean this behavior should be tolerated.
Lastly, I’ve had multiple instances where my take-out orders for a Dave’s Single were downgraded to some junior burger, and I didn’t bother to file a complaint. But what happened this time is too frustrating to ignore.
As for what I expect in return, I’ll leave it to you to decide a fair resolution. Whether it’s a proper refund or something more meaningful, I hope you understand how disappointing this...
Read moreHonestly, extremely disappointed in the service. Ordered a chicken wrap with no cheese and no ranch but with mayo. When i received my order, I got cheese in my order so I went back to the drive thru considering it is 2 AM, I was told to come to the window so i did. so receiving my order the first time, this worker rolled her eyes at us for no reason when we giving them service. no one told them to work a night shift. then the second time when i came to fix my order, i was told to give the wrap back, which first of all, i opened to assess, so i told them i don’t wanna give it back cuz they gonna throw it out and i don’t believe in throwing out food. i even offered to pay for the new one, and then i was met with the manager and the same girl who rolled her eyes at us the first time. they both gave us attitude and told us they won’t give us the wrap unless we give them the old one back. EVEN THO I OFFERED TO PAY FOR THE NEW ONE. they both just stayed at the window giving attitude. So i give it back, then the same girl who rolled her eyes at us the first time, ROLLED HER EYES AGAIN! the disrespect for no reason. Never coming again. I even complained to the manager and the manager said “i know” but obviously isn’t doing anything about it. This is the perfect location for my night shift break, but ima make sure to tell all my coworkers how they acted and they gonna lose more than 1 customer. Like if you hate your job that much… QUIT. don’t be disrespecting people who...
Read moreWent to the Tim Hortons with my friends, my friend asked me let's try this time Wendy's. This is my first experience in Wendy's and found very very rude behavior from the manager. We ordered Taco Salads, paid but then ended up canceling the order. The manager named Romeo (as he identified) was in very unprofessional and rude manner. My friend was explaining why he cant take meat, but the manager shut him off, saying, "you don't have to explain, just take money back and go away". Then I requested if I can get his name and manager to talk. He first denied to give his name neither to manager. He ended up saying we are wasting his time and go away from here. He even called police claiming that we are harassing him, very unfortunate. Me and my friend realized if we continue with this guy, it may go to further bad situations, so we left. This is my first experience with Wendy's, wow,. It's very unfortunate that Wendy's, being such a high class brand, don't give enough training to its employee in customers service skill. I myself being owner of 3 medium size business in Canada, can easily say, either Wendy's pay these guys very less or do not provide sufficient training. My complain is nothing about Wendy's policy, it's all about his attitude and way of speaking. Sorry Wendy's, me and my friends won't be in any Wendy's in life time. Thanks, at least there is a way to write a review and if it really reach to...
