Western Sandwich Company Bountiful Market — Restaurant in Edmonton

I came to Bountiful Farmers Market with my girlfriend and decided to go to Western Sandwich for a quick bite. The staff that helped us was very nice and polite. They took the order efficiently and quickly prepared our food. The stall looked clean and had an attractive modern design. We both ordered different poutines and were not disappointed! The poutines were very light but savory which filled us up, but didn't leave the bloated feeling that poutines tend to give! However, because this company resides within Bountiful Farmers market, it is sometimes difficult to get a table at which to sit at and eat. Therefore I would recommend that you either order the food out, or make sure that you come outside of the busy hours so that you are able to get a table. I would love to come back here and try the other poutines and sandwiches...

I would say that this is the far most disgusting restaurant I’ve ever visited. I ordered two of the vegetarian poutines. They both had 5-6 pieces of hair. I returned one of them when we started and asked them to change as the hair were long and completely visible. They made a new one and when we continued the another one and which was new again had hair in it. It was so disgusting that we ended up throwing them. I would highly recommend that please don’t waste your money here and eat at a place which is clean and hygienic. Having so long and many pieces of hair is a matter of concern and needs to be looked over. Serving these things to customers, according to me is a red flag to the health of customers. Would never ever go to this place to eat. Totally, completely, WASTE OF MONEY AND PAYING PRICE FOR...

It’s hard times so I do not review places that’s sub-par to give them a chance. However, this location at the Bountiful Farmers Market is not only overpriced but the food was just so not what they say. Surprised that it’s got more than 4*. And customer service is non-existent.

When I visited on a Friday afternoon, there were no customers, and a lady (manning the front) was on the phone. She saw me waiting but she didn’t even acknowledge that there’s someone to order. She continued speaking on the phone. Someone from the back came to take my order and that’s when she got up and asked me what I wanted. I specified it was to-go, but they made it dine-in.
