The Puzzle Shop — Local services in Edmonton

Absolutely fantastic store. Excellent customer service, and very friendly staff. I met the owner, very polite, knowledgeable lady and the young guy working there was super bubbly and chatty. I came in looking for "Wingspan" and walked out with much more (the board game, a couple expansions for it, and a Disney puzzle)! Hundreds of puzzles to choose from as well as a nice variety of board games. Also incredibly competitive pricing, the board game I was looking for was $20 cheaper here than other board game shops around the city (after calling approximately 15 different ones). I ordered 7 puzzles that were sent to the wrong address…

Was then told that they are working with fedex to get it resolved so that they get sent to the right address (out east)

Just got notification that the puzzles are now on their way here, not where they’re suppose to be going. (Apparently shipping and billing address is the same?)

I would stay away from this place all together.

Their online service is awful and incompetent. —

My family stumbled upon this gem of a store and could have spent hours browsing! The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, especially the gentleman who introduced us to new puzzle brands. We purchased a few and were impressed with the quality. We'll definitely be back for more Heye puzzles in the future, thanks for the recommendation!
