I am absolutely thrilled to give Alif Halal Meat & Groceries Ltd a glowing 5-star review! Located at 3819 99 St NW, Edmonton, AB T6E 6J1, this establishment has truly earned its stellar rating.
First and foremost, I am immensely impressed by the commitment to halal standards upheld by the staff at Alif Halal Meat & Groceries Ltd. As a devout adherent to halal dietary guidelines, finding a reliable source for halal-certified products is of utmost importance to me. Alif Halal not only meets but exceeds my expectations in this regard. The fact that the staff themselves are halal-certified adds an extra layer of assurance and authenticity to the products they offer.
Moreover, the staff at Alif Halal are not only knowledgeable about their products but also incredibly helpful and friendly. Every visit to the store is met with warm greetings and genuine assistance. Whether I'm seeking recommendations for a particular cut of meat or inquiring about the availability of specialty items, the staff consistently go above and beyond to ensure that my needs are met.
Furthermore, the selection of groceries at Alif Halal is extensive and of the highest quality. From fresh meats to pantry staples and exotic spices, they have everything I need to prepare delicious and authentic halal meals at home. The cleanliness and organization of the store further enhance the overall...
Read moreThis store is not only incapable but they are not truthful. They lie about having baby chicken, and once you order baby chicken, they give you mixture of baby and large chicken. Mostly large chicken. I have gathering in my house today and cooked for several people. The chicken is absolutely disgusting. I am going to throw away 3 kgs of cooked chicken and now order from outside. I'll also throw away the rest of the uncooked chicken I bought from them (around 6 kg in total maybe).
They also have Alif Royal kitchen, The first day I shopped there, for around $100, couple items were just stale, they were smelling. As a Bangladeshi store I want them to grow and I did not want to give any negative review. Frequent, I bought weekly meal even there sometimes their chicken is not up to standard, watery, and contains different ingredients than that is mentioned in the menu. I just waited for them to be better so did not post any negative review. But there is a saying "latho ka bhoot baato se nehi manta".. If this is how you treat your regular customers who spend thousands in your store, your business will go to hell. Atleast as a Muslim store you should sell proper items that you promise, otherwise your income is haram, even though you claim the meat is halal. Any profit earned from these low standard and stale...
Read moreI purchased several beef paya, but almost none of them appeared to be genuine paya bones with marrow. Instead, they seemed like ordinary bones cut at different angles. On top of that, there are frequent issues with weight — you provide less but charge for more. When confronted, you dismiss it as a “mistake,” yet these mistakes happen far too often to be accidental.
Your store operates under the name Alif, a Muslim name, yet the way you conduct business is far from honest and halal. At the very least, do not misuse such a name while engaging in unfair practices. As a Bangladeshi store, it is disheartening to see you take advantage of your own community. We, as Bangladeshi customers, continue to give you chances out of respect for our shared background, and even when weight issues occur, we often remain silent out of courtesy. But courtesy should not be mistaken for weakness and taken advantage of. At the very least, show loyalty to your own people and conduct business...
