Fabulous Eastern European pies and baking in Edmonton. Everytime we come to Bountiful, we always pay a visit to Alyonka Bakery. The staff is very friendly and always smiling. My favourites are the cheese pie and potato cheese pie. The khachapuri is also delicious! Full of cheesy goodness and not too greasy. I hope to continue coming to try everything on...

We found this little place during the summer and have been coming by every couple of weeks while at the farmers market. The pies have been great, our favorite is the potato and cheese! It tastes great fresh, and you can reheat leftovers in the oven like a pizza the next day. We also tried some pastries recently and those were pretty tasty as well!

A local hidden gem! There's a lot of great vendors in the bountiful market but I really hope more people take the chance to visit Alyonka. The khachapuri that we ordered was spectacular in every way. The person working at the time even helpfully told us how locals tend to consume it. I will definitely be revisiting!
