This is the usual location we go to if we want some fried chicken as it's the closest to where we live, but after tonight's experience, sadly, I will order from another place. Arrived at the drive through around 10:15 and placed my 4pc platter and 3 pc combo order. Was told to wait 15 min. for spicy flavor as all they had was mild left. After 20 min. of waiting, a staff came to my vehicle and said they are out of spicy and only have 4 pcs spicy, I would have to wait another 7 min. to get my 3 pcs of spicy. I was confused and outraged as I have already waited 20 min. for the items and only half of my order is being fulfilled. I then walked into the location and ask for a refund on my 3 pcs combo and said that I will just take my 4pcs platter now because I don't want to wait anymore. Again, I was told that there is now only 2 pcs spicy chicken left and I will have to wait 7 more minute to get my order.
Throughout the entire exchange in conversation, no clear explanation was given, no apology was given. I was simply repeated offered mild flavor chicken.
I will admit that I've gotten impatient and was extremely angry, but waiting 40 min. for my food at a fast food restaurant is simply unacceptable. I ended up receiving my food around 10:50; however, it was when I got home, I realized that they have only given me chicken and no sides were given. I had to drive back and demand for my sides that I paid for. Again, no apology was given.
Will never...

Customer WiFi: no Washrooms: yes one men's two women's stalls Power outlets: no Pet friendly: no Parking: free parking lot
Food/Drinks: been here twice in a span of 2 weeks and it seems like each time I come by the less menu items they have available. No chicken sandwiches at all to begin with then now no mild chicken strips and Mac and Cheese. Ordered the corn on the cob and it was super mushy like it had been cooking overnight. They also pre cook wayyyyyy too much chicken and you can see it all just sitting there under the heat lamp. When we went there was less than a dozen people there and they had 6 trays 2 levels piled full of chicken. I also got the spicy chicken tenders and they were tough and dry probably because they were sitting there for who knows how long. Their biscuits are pretty good as well as their mashed potatoes and gravy which is probably its only saving grace.
Service: staff was pleasant but tell you different stories in regard to why they don't have half their menu. My friend was told that they just sold out and I was told there was a problem with the supplier.
Atmosphere: very large, open, and welcoming. Lots of potential but honestly really needs some work. They have more staff in the back then customers!

Read moreIf you run out of a menu item PUT UP A SIGN People MAY want to walk away and try another restaurant. They should have that option. The food was okay, I couldn’t properly judge it/ enjoy my meal because there was some family with children they can’t handle. Edmonton is getting worse, the people who live here now are disgusting. Some lady and man were allowing their nasty child with no socks to run around on tables !!!!!!!!! I couldn’t believe it. I HAD to go inform 1st the parents, to stop letting a child with no socks that is running around screaming on tables that he is being disruptive. And he has the nerve to ask how that was disruptive
So I went to try to speak to the manager on duty , her response
“Are you sitting on that side of the restaurant?” Mine : NO. Not one person would chose to sit on that side hense why one side of your restaurant is completely empty ( the side with the nasty child with no socks running around on the tables) I don’t think any sane person would chose to sit on that side of the restaurant Her next response: I’ll sanitize the tables when they leave
10 minutes later of hearing a kid run on tables I was done, threw my food away and went to the bathroom came out to notice the disrespectful family left and some other family was sitting on tables that just had feet on...
