I’ve been increasingly more frustrated with this location lately. For the past few times I’ve ordered a drink on the app it’s taken a really long time for them to make it. I live in Timberlea and I always order it before I leave for work downtown. It takes about 15 mins for me to drive there and when I arrive my drink is never ready. Yesterday was particularly bad as I waited 10 mins in store for my drink in addition to the 15 it took me to drive there and it still wasn’t ready. I ended up going to work (I work at OJ’s) to set up my bar and came back another 20 mins later and it was finally there. It’s also super frustrating because there’s usually 3-4 employees working but only one is ever making drinks. I’m not mad at the girl who was making drinks yesterday because she seemed super stressed and had to deal with making app order drinks and in store orders. The rest of them were just stocking sandwiches and aimlessly walking in and out of the back while this girl was crashing behind the bar. I think management really needs to review and support their staff more. Every Starbucks I’ve ever been to has at least one person making cold drinks and one person making hot drinks. I think in addition they should put someone in charge of app orders to keep things organized because honestly it just looks like a frazzled mess there...
Read moreA great big shout out to the amazing staff at the Starbucks downtown. I did a scavenger hunt for my boyfriend's birthday. I wanted to include where we met for our first date. I went in and spoke with Izza and she was totally down with the idea and said she'd share my plan with the rest of the staff, so everyone was aware. When I dropped off my "clue" Alvin was on the register and was amazing, when the other staff overheard they all already knew what was going on and their enthusiasm added to my positive experience. I'm not sure who ended up giving the envelope to my boyfriend the following day but he said that all the staff were amazing. He didn't use his Starbucks gift card that day, I guess he was excited to get his, next clue, but we'll be back to see all the smiling faces. Read moreService has gone severely downhill in the last couple years. The staff are consistently rude and unenthusiastic. There is NEVER a manager available any time I've had a complaint, which is often. I've had an employee give away my mobile order to another customer, I've waited over 20 minutes for a mobile order that they "forgot" about, I've had staff members speak to me with a snotty attitude, they are ALWAYS out of something, and I've had several drinks made incorrectly. They never have a manager in, the most I've gotten is a teenage "supervisor" offer me a gift card that I can't even add to my app so is useless for mobile orders. They need a whole new staff and an actual manager. I've stopped going to this location entirely, the prices aren't worth having a drink made wrong and being mouthed off by an employee that doesn't even look like they want...
