Soul Sweet Cafe & 250 Pizza (Fort Saint John Local 250 Pizza) — Restaurant in Fort St. John

We have been ordering from this place for a couple of months. But tonight was the last time. We had skip deliver, and it was at our door within 45 mins. BUT.....it was cold. We were missing an item, and my wife was disregarded when she called to let them know. I understand that skip does what skip does, but skip didn't mess up our order, and skip didn't neglect to put a seal on our food. When my wife told the lady on the phone she basically argued, said there is nothing she can do about. When she was told that this was our last order at their establishment, she responded with absolutely nothing. Too busy to put out fires, I guess. I don't care if you have the best food in Canada (which you dont), if your going to completely disregard a complaint that was more for your information than anything else, then we have other options. Very rude individual on the phone. And she was too busy to care about any issue other than pushing more sub par food...

I discovered this place on my last night in FSJ. I really wish I had known about it sooner. If you're in the Ramada hotel you have to go there! It's right across the street. This little gem of a restaurant is apparently under new ownership as of 2024. They offer take-out, delivery or dine-in. Honestly, I was expecting run-of-the-mill pizza, but went because their location was so convenient. Raman is so sweet and helpful! I was very pleasantly surprised by their delicious bubble tea and vegetarian pizza options! Their dough is also made from scratch. Then they surprised me with a great price. Their restaurant seating offers real variety for different ages...

Their pizzas are delicious! It's the crust that is perfect for me. Also as sacrilegious as it sounds their Tropical Forest pizza has shown me that pineapple is capable of belonging on a pizza. I think it is the combination of vegetables and their sauce having just the right amount of sweetness to pull it off.

This can always change but right now their bubble tea toppers are really cute.

They also sell figurine kits which topped off the night. It was a lot of fun putting these together today. I know these ones were aimed at younger kids because of the Hello Kitty but I think they are really cute! Next time I want to try doing...
