barBURRITO — Restaurant in Gatineau

Just wanted a quick meal with my girlfriend, and this place was very close to her place so we tried it. The food was delicious, fresh ingredients and a choice of sauces. I can't complain about that. The service however, was ridiculously bad. When we walked in there was 1 other customer ahead of us. They asked me to wait 4 minutes while they prepared more shredded beef, which was fine, although considering it was around 5 pm you'd think they would have prepared better. I stood back and ushered the next customer ahead, which screwed them up entirely. The new employee could barely understand customers in French or English and what I believe was the manager didn't do so well either. The line started backing up and after 10 minutes they started making my beef burrito. When we asked for fries, something MOST fast food places offer you and not get upset about you asking for, we spent another 5 minutes waiting while the cooked some. I had to ask for ice tea and not coke 5 different times, and when I went to pay somehow I was being given coke instead (?!?). At this point I got frustrated and expressed my discontent. The girl on cash snapped at me citing how busy it is (again, it was dead when we walked in), threw the debit machine across the counter at us (as I am holding cash to pay) and stormed off. I HOPE THE OWNER SEES THIS IF THERE WAS A ZERO STAR OR BELOW THATS MY TRUE REVIEW . ABSOLUTELY DEPLORABLE ESTABLISHMENT . STAFF IS BEYOND RUDE WITH ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PRIDE IN THERE WORK THEY HANG UP THE PHONE WHEN THERE IS AN ISSUE . WE HAVE ORDERED FROM THEM 3 TIMES AND EACH TIME THEY FOR GOT ONE OR MORE ITEMS IN OUR ORDER AND WHERE TOLD ITS NOT THERE PROBLEM . NOT EVEN AN ATTEMPT TO FIX THE ISSUE . I WALKED IN ONE OF THE TIMES AND THE WAS TREATED DISRESPECTFULLY . AND MY FOOD WAS MADE WITH ANGER AND ANIMOSITY BEING LITERALLY THROWN TOGETHER AND THEN THROWN IN MY FACE . THE STAFF WAS EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND WHO EVER THEY DECIDED TO SAY WAS THE MANGER WAS ALSO RUDE AND DISMISSED ME AS IT WAS NOT THERE PROBLEM. I WILL NEVER ORDER OR GO BACK THIS PLACE . I've ordered from here 3 times. The first couple of times, the food was fantastic. I ordered the chicken burrito and it was one of the best I've ever had. The last time I ordered though, I got the fish burrito with extra protein (assuming this meant a double portion of fish) but I got halfway through the burrito before I found a piece of fish. and it seemed like it might have been fried and then refried. one end of it seemed very chewy. I really didn't enjoy this one.

With each order I've gotten fries and if you try this place, you should too. Loved them every time.

My daughter got a pulled pork quesadilla. Don't get this it was not good. one bite and it went straight in the garbage. Don't order this.

Bottom line here is that it's hit and miss. When it's good it's really good but when it's bad, it's not something you want to eat. It probably depends on the staff that are working since I've seen reviews about some of the staff not...
