Sushi Shop — Restaurant in Gatineau

Idk where to start

If they have an old bowl for another client sitting on the table, they will give you that so if you go during busy hours, it might not be fresh. Why am i not getting fresh food because another customer is late/ they prepared the bowl too soon?

They give you cheap paper bags that will rip, makes you pay 58 cents for it? Like what kind of business makes you pay for the TAKEOUT BAG? imagine going to subway/a&w/any resto and they charge you for the bag you leave with… so greedy…. chile anyway…

The other commentor is correct. Every poke bowl takes like a big mac? But i wouldnt say its a bad thing but treat this place as fast food and not a healthy snack

Their prices went from 15 to 20 for bowls pre and then post pandemic and the price increase is just not worth. Might as well go to an all-you-can-eat sushi resto at ottawa…

You pay for 70% lettuce, 25% rice and then 5% meat, avocado…. So really its just salad with salmon…

They also changed the lettuce recently and its so disgusting, feels like youre chewing gum??? So chewy and not fresh. Texture is wack

Food is great service is great! My issue on why only a two star is because they don't have enough staff. If I do not preorder my chances are slim they can make a single order of a Maki Printemps for me which takes littarly 3min to make. I have to wait up to 20 min or more depending on how many preorders they need to make. Meanwhile, I drive there in person I have to wait.

They are open till 9pm and the pick up and go shelves are pretty much empty. They used to have them full or have selection on the shelf. Now I nvr see it with barely any selection.

If I need to always preorder to get my single wrap I'll never eat there again. I can't always preorder. They tell me I must preorder as it is rush time during this time (6pm) if that's the case hire another employee. There's only ever two...

I ordered the new Tao (Crevette) Poké bowl and it was literally SO good. I cannot believe my eyes when I saw the other reviews because most of them talked about the dirtiness however it was one of the cleanest restaurants I've ever been in. The ground was literally shining like hello??? Also just look at the poke ball. Just. Look. It's so beautiful and anyone who says otherwise just wants this shop to look bad. So disrespectful. I absolutely loved the experience with this shop and you definitely cannot have this experience anywhere else. I am a local and a very loyal customer. This is the first time I've seen a shop that has reviews that are completely the opposite of the actual shop in question. I love this place and hope it continues to live on like it deserves...
