I would give 0 stars if I could. This is the absolute worst restaurant filled with ignorant staff, boss, and managers. All the recent 5 star reviews are only posted because there was a chain of 1 star reviews (scroll down and you’ll see them). After seeing the chain of negative reviews, the restaurant advertised on WeChat for people to comment a five star review so they can get a discount for their meal. This clearly shows that the reviews are not accurate and not true stories because they tried to neutralize the negative comments created by real customers who were unsatisfied with this business. Very unethical and it just shows how the business really is.
Personally, I had a very unpleasant experience visiting this restaurant a few days ago. I have been to Lets Grill a few times before in the past, and the food was good, but after this experience, I will not be returning anymore. They served some of the food to us raw, and when we kindly asked them to check if the food was raw and if there are any accommodations that could be made, the server (a tall Chinese female with long hair) just told us that it was not her that made the food, so she can't do anything about it. She was very ignorant towards us and approached us in a very unfriendly manner, as if the raw food was our fault. After dining, we realized a day later that they overcharged our bill as well. When we tried to tell them to refund the overcharged bill to us, the manager of the store told us that they were unable to give us the money back right away because she "don't have the right to", and directed us to the boss. After speaking with the boss, he told us that it was "only 20 dollars", and he will get back to us ASAP. It has been over 24 hours since contacting him and there is still no refund made. This strongly demonstrates that the staff at this store do not value its customers, and are very disrespectful. Please avoid this place...
Read moreI would rate this restaurant, and in particular, this location, a negative star if that was an option. The overall professionalism that the waitress and the staff delivered was absolutely laughable. Avoid this restaurant if you can.
We came to discover that we were served raw seafood skewers after having finished the entire meal. Initially, we were very polite and asked the waitress to check with the kitchen to see whether if the shrimp were served as it is or if there was simply a mistake. Fast forward a couple of minutes, the waitress came back with 2 seemingly overcooked shrimp skewers and left without an explanation, to which I stopped her and asked what the conclusion of the discussion was with the kitchen staff. She responded ambiguously with something along the lines of "oh it might be half raw half cooked". As I requested a further explanation due to her inability to communicate effectively between customer needs and the kitchen staff, she responded impatiently with "I was not the one that cooked the skewers," "then what do you guys want to do now?".
We ended up getting the shrimp skewers taken off of our bills (which should have been the bare minimum the restaurant could have done), yet, we weren't offered any formal apologies throughout the whole process.
We have also found out that we were overcharged, and still have yet to receive either a response or a refund from the owner himself.
There could have been so many other ways to approach this situation, but the waitress and the staff chose the most unprofessional and unacceptable one. I hope this review can be brought to the owner's attention and hopefully offer formal training to their staff on what decent...
Read moreService was fast and great and the skewers tasted great; so a point in that area. However I expected more meat on the skewers. Look, I know they are approx. $2 per skewer but paper thin slices of meat per skewer is taking it a bit far (like the meat is so close to the base of skewer) :/
Based on the photos on the menu they are fairly thick pieces of meat for the beef and lamb. I even looked at pictures on google reviews and they look way thicker than the meat pieces we had. I am not sure if just decided to give us thinner pieces or something but still that is inexcusable.
The only thick slices of meat were the pork skewers (got pork belly and honey BBQ pork). But I would like to see thickness consistency across all the meat skewers.
The veggies dishes and the green onion cake were apparently good according to my friend; so I'll give this place a point here as well.
I will give this place one more try; but I'll make sure to eat something ahead of time in case we get paper thin red meat...
