Do not go here! Its a total rip off. My first time there tonight. I walk in and there’s signs everywhere saying regular $7, large $9. I tell the lady it’s my first time and ask how it works. She tells me to chose a size and a protein. I look at the menus on the wall and prices are not clearly posted, but decide to go with a regular chicken. She pulls out a tortilla the size you get at the grocery store and puts one scoop (about a tablespoon and a half) of chicken on the burrito. The other staff at the till needs her help so they swap, with the new lady taking over my food. She goes to move over to toppings and I’m like, ‘can I have more chicken please that’s not a lot’. She asks if I want double meat and I say ‘no, if that’s all that comes on a regular just make it with the same amount as a large and I’ll just pay for a large’. She puts another smallerish scoop (tablespoon) of chicken on and we finish the burrito no issues. I get an iced tea and when the lady rings me up she says it’s $17… I’m like what? No. The other lady corrects her and she re-rings me in FOR $19.48!!! For a burrito barely bigger than one you’d make for yourself at home! I told her please don’t charge me for double meat just charge me for a large and she’s like, I did… and I’m like I saw you charge me $4 for double meat. She looks at me and is like, that’s $19.48.. Confused I asked ‘how do you get to $19 from $7’ and point at the sign. She says that’s only for students.. like where are your normal prices listed!?! I have never walked out on a restaurant before.. but I was like, ‘you can keep it then, have a good night’ and walked out. I will never return to this place again and...
Read moreMy bf and I dropped by here ona Friday in-between our work for a quick lunch grab. The food was awfully soggy and the flavors were lost in how wet the food was. But this wasn't the worse thing about our experience in this joint, the service was beyond terrible- absolutely awful and rude staff. The three staff preparing the food all were speaking in their own mother tongue, which I am not critical of, but the fact that they were making rude snarky faces at us Everytime we inquired about something with our order made us feel terrible when we left. One particular server (wears glasses and has red/brown hair) was the absolutw worse- I had asked if I can have guacamole on my dish which was a quesidilla and she said I can't, then I had asked if she can add it on the side and if it would be counted as a topping.. without even address my concerns she spoke to her friend server in their mother tongue and made a very obvious snarky comment...how is this acceptable? Awful awful place, were never coming back and we warned all our colleagues about it so they stay away from the horrible...
Read moreI recently visited the Burrito Libre University location for dinner with my husband, and our experience was extremely disappointing. The service we received was very poor. The server was cold and rude, appearing irritated as if our presence was an inconvenience to her.
The portions were extremely small, much smaller than what I’ve received on previous visits. It felt like she was deliberately skimping on the portions. When we politely asked for a bit more, she curtly told us we would need to pay extra, even though I’ve regularly seen other staff members accommodate such requests without issue.
I’ve always found the staff at this location to be friendly, but this experience was a stark contrast. The combination of poor service, small portions, and the overall unpleasant treatment has left me very disappointed. For the price we paid, the experience was not worth it. I will not be returning to...
