This beautifully decorated brick building is nestled down a small side road in the heart of Guelph and this out of sight gem served me one of the tastiest oat Flat Whites I've had in Ontario and a spectacular Iced Oat Matcha latte that my wife made funny noises enjoying 😅 They have a genius system whereby you can order from a window using an iPad POS system that allows you to order and customize your drinks easily and efficiently, no need to join the long queue inside. Regardless of how you order, the staff are super friendly and helpful and able to quickly make your delicious drinks. This is my new favourite coffee spot in Guelph! Thanks Red Brick Cafe 🙏🏼

Food: 3 Stars Service: 4 Stars Ambience: 3 Stars Value: 3 Stars Overall: 3.25 Stars I visited Red Brick Cafe and ordered a matcha latte and a brownie. While I had high hopes, my experience was a bit mixed. Firstly, the matcha latte wasn't as strong as I prefer. It lacked the robust flavour that I usually enjoy in my matcha drinks. On the other hand, the brownie was very dry and could have definitely been better. I was hoping for something moist and rich but was left disappointed. That being said, the staff at Red Brick Cafe were incredibly friendly and accommodating. During my visit, I accidentally left my phone at the cafe. The staff found it and kept it safe for me until I returned, which I truly appreciated. Their attentiveness and honesty in this situation were commendable. The atmosphere inside the cafe is quite decent, especially for students looking for a place to study or work. However, the outside seating area leaves much to be desired. Sitting close to garbage bins detracts from the overall experience, which is unfortunate considering the potential for a pleasant outdoor spot. In summary, while the food and drinks didn’t quite meet my expectations, the friendly staff and decent indoor atmosphere make Red Brick Cafe worth a visit. However, there is certainly room for improvement, especially in the quality of the brownie and the strength of the matcha latte. If these issues are addressed, I believe the cafe could be a much better spot for both casual visits and study sessions. kellychan360

This cafe is fantastic with such atmosphere and flavoured coffee. It fits right into downtown Guelph which is like a quaint European town. It's almost like being in Disney World. Parking may be a challenge although there are lots close by with free parking after 6 p.m. There is even free parking along some city streets if you don't mind a 5 to 10 minute walk. Today I had their panini which was excellent. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. She even knew I was looking for their wifi password before I could try to ask in between customers.

Ever since i lived in Guelph, 2013-2015, I would make a point to spend time at Red Brick Cafe. The atmosphere is one that's conducive to contemplation and conversation. They have great tasting food and an excellent coffee/tea selection. At times when it gets busy though, you sometimes have to assert your need for attention, but that's only if it is crazy busy. Recommended for coffee lovers and people looking for great conversation with friends or simply losing themselves in thought.

Red Brick is a Guelph gem. It's a bustling cafe with a diverse crowd. Service is always friendly. Seating is comfortable. Despite how busy it gets, we *almost* always find somewhere to sit. In nicer weather you can sit out front or on the back patio. They have delicious lattes as well as cold drinks like italian soda and alcohol options. They serve breakfast and lunch, and they always have fresh baked goods. Their peach muffins are incredible - highly recommend.

Such a beautiful café. Great pastries and hot beverages. They're not dog friendly, but the staff were very accommodating and friendly. We couldn't go inside with our 6 months old GR 🐕. It was also pouting rain when we visited; however, one of their staff kindly offered us seats so we can sit in front of the café and they even gave us a bowl of water for our dog. So thank you, we'll definitely come back soon!
