Beer Store 4040 — Restaurant in Guelph

Visited the beer store today with my husband. Walked up to the counter where 3 associates were having a conversation. Nobody looked at us or acknowledged us and we were standing right in front of the girl. My husband asked for 6 Moosehead bottles and the girl gave us the total and rolled her eyes and walked to the back. When she came out she asked very rudely debit or credit which my husband replied credit. The girl then started to drink her drink and go on her phone. The tap wasn't working so I tried to use my card instead. Then the girl said in a very rude tone if it's debit it won't work that's why I asked if it was credit or debit. Then I replied with "are we bugging you?" Then in a sarcastic way she said no no and looked away. This is absolutely disgusting customer service. My husband and I felt like we were "interrupting" a casual conversation between 3 coworkers and got attitude for it. We will never return again and that girl that was working at 11:34am on May 20th shouldn't be the face of the beer store...

I was there returning my empties. There was a lady working there. She was extremely rude. I came with my garbage bags of empties. I know that they have 100 in each bag. I should have had 400 cans there. She just looked and said that she wasn't giving me money for 400. Instead she wanted to give me for only 320. When I asked her how she came up with that number, had she counted them? She said no she wasn't counting them . During this transaction, other customers left because of how rude she was being with me. I don't understand why she needed to be so rude about it. I wasn't nasty And this isn't the first time this lady was nasty with me. If she was so concerned about the amount of cans, she could have counted them. Is this really the face of the beer store. No wonder they are all closing . She should be the first one fired . So not impressed. Maybe someone did something to her cornflakes this morning but that's not my fault. Customer service is...

I don't know where their beer comes from, but every time I buy a full case, it has been opened. Most recently, got a full case that a lot of the cans are somehow dinged, and all the cans are covered in dried on beer. I have to wash each and every can I am getting from this case. It looks like they are putting together cases of cans that were part of damaged cases. Paying full price for the case, so I don't want salvaged cans - rather buy from the store on Municipal, where this has never happened ( as opposed to every time I got a case from...
