This morning, I was on my way to an appointment and was pressed for time. I saw that Wendy’s now offered breakfast. I wanted to try it out, using the drive-thru.
It was a mistake.
First of all, the young woman at the speaker had little to no knowledge of the new breakfast menu. I requested something simple (sausage biscuit without egg, black coffee with sweetener). It was like talking to an intellectually challenged child. This person didn’t know that sweetener and Splenda were the same. And I waited about 10 minutes before I had to drive away without my order. That’s how bad your customer service is.
Just because it was Saturday didn’t mean that people weren’t in a hurry. I had to be at my hair appointment in 10 minutes.
In a perfect world, adults rather than teenagers would be in charge. Fast food is not great work, but there are lots of people who would do it without complaint - and do it well. Train your workers better, and hire people with that hustle.
This is not the first time this Wendy’s has messed up, and this was a good location in the past. Months ago, I requested a grilled chicken sandwich with regular rather than honey mustard. Guess what I got?

When I answered honestly (because I was being nice)“ I’m being asked to review”, he tried to scurry away and whisper “just don’t serve him again”. Sir, if you didn’t have 3 different staff all handling cash, cash register and then food without washing their hands or wearing gloves I wouldn’t have had to document and share it. You might also need retraining. Being ignored and walked away from at the resister twice by two of your front desk employees I was going to over look. Even with a smile they walked away because some sort of insecurity, or lack of proper training. Alas, I’m happy to not be back because of the transpires. Customers are allowed to snap pics of violations . Period. Shouldn’t have been ignored by two ppl prior to you asking me and the only reason I got served at a proper timing by company standards was because I started taking the pics.
Thanks the food is actually good tho. So can’t give lower than 3 stars on google. One employee should be handling cash and no food. That’s the standard. Cash and registers are dirtier than...

I ordered a small order of fries and small nuggets 7 minutes prior to me entering the Wendy's, and proceeded to wait another 6 minutes for a small order, that I never got because I didn't have the time to wait in queue longer. Honestly just frustrated that I had to watch someone in the drive-thru order a 10 piece chicken nugget meal, and have them get served before me when I had my order put through long before I entered. Had my order been more complex I would understand but it's just ridiculous.
