I pre-ordered fish and chips and walked here on my lunch. The old lady was sweet but unfortunately the young guy was customer facing, who was aggressive and argumentative. I only wanted to pay so I could get back to work. The fish was pretty good for a pizza place and there was a generous portion of fries - so many that I couldn't comfortably eat them which would've been amazing had I ordered them from home. Go for the food but don't expect good service.

Folks behind the counter are beautiful souls. Pizza and service is fantastic. They use a proper clay brick oven. Good things come to those who wait, and waiting for fresh pizza was rewarded very well. Stop to chat with your neighbours, live in the city you reside and take some fun risks. You may find a new favourite pizza place.

Upon visiting Halifax after two years, one of my first stops was here. The donair pizza was absolutely delicious. Despite the owner being a little grumpy, his culinary skills are undeniable. The bread, cheese, and meat were incredibly fresh, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

We tried Peter’s Pizza and had a very good experience the first time. Decent pizza and garlic fingers. Second time we ordered delivery, and when we opened the door, the first thing the delivery man said was “do you have tip for me”. I was absolutely dumbfounded. I have travelled around the world and have been to hundreds of restaurants, cafes, hotels, resorts, bars etc etc and I have NEVER been asked for a tip. Cannot believe this happens in Halifax Nova Scotia of all places, a city that is supposed to have class. This is something I would an employee expect at some run down establishment in a tacky rundown city. Regrettably, We did tip via the app we used to order the food. He went on to explain that he did not see it blah blah blah. He persisted on asking for a tip. This experience made us all feel uncomfortable and pressured. We wanted him off our property as soon as possible. We will absolutely never order anything from Peter’s Pizza again. Fire your...

I would regularly stop by Peter’s and grab a slice for lunch and occasionally order a pizza for take out. But as of today that will change. I stopped in for slice because the advertised lunch special, a slice and pop for $5 was too good to pass up. I was very disappointed. The slice of pepperoni pizza (there was no other option) had 2 1/2 pieces of pepperoni on it and the cheese was so thin it hardly covered the sauce. Sooo… I ordered a second piece, not because the first was so good but because I was starving and the first piece didn’t cut it and I knew I wouldn’t be having supper until about 8 pm. BTW the 2nd piece cost $4.75, no pop. Second piece same as the first. You might say good marketing plan, he got me to spend $9.75 instead of the original $5, the down side is I won’t be back for a slice and probably won’t order take out because I don’t know what I will get. And I used to love...

Peter's pizza is our favourite pizza place nearby. The owner is odd, but friendly and charming. He's almost always in the restaurant.

He seems to make his crust from scratch, and sometimes the texture varies (thinner and crispy or lighter and fluffy) but is always good. The Greek salad is very delicious and a must. The downside is that they're still using styrofoam containers, but I assume it's left over stock.

The website does always list the same amount of time for pickup, so sometimes you get there and your order is done and has been sitting and other times you get there and have to wait another...
