Diamantino's Pizza — Restaurant in Hamilton

Called this place today, person on phone was rude. Said what's up after I greeted her and asked how she was. I asked about a pickup special because the only menu information you have is from a flyer 1 year old someone posted, and a flyer from 2016 on your Facebook page. She said yeah 3 item large pizza. You want it ?

I said can you explain it to me please? All of your menu information online is old (and there's no functional website to speak of)

She told me it was 17.99 (last year's posted menu right here on Google says 11.99) she also started arguing with me that any menu I saw must have been 3 years or more older, I said it was posted 1 year ago, and she said oh I don't know I started working here this year 🤦🏼 I said ok I order it, I told her three toppings and she immediately started telling me when to come pick it up, I told her I wasn't finished speaking/ordering (was also going to order chicken wings) and asked if I could pay for an additional topping, she said no and began ranting at me,at which point I told her to nevermind.

I have zero interest in giving any of my business to places with little to no knowledge or care for customer service.

Also what sort of sense does it make to not allow someone to pay for...

Just moved back to the area after about 8 years. Went to a little bar called espelanda and they were saying how the pizza place down the street has the best pizza in the city. A little place called Diamantinos. So I ordered a pizza for delivery. If you haven't had diamantinos before, I highly recommend it. The ratio of the toppings is superb. Cooked perfectly, cheese settles on the bread perfect so the toppings dont fall off (major pet peeve of mine) and the crust is the perfect toasted gold colour it should be, with the perfect crispness I'm currently writing this review with slice in hand. Absolutely throttled with how good this pizza is. I've been to New York and I must say, better pizza then any of the pizza...

First off, I am a PizzaExpert and did a video review on this pizza on YT.

Second, this place is not a good place to eat in, IF they survive covid. It's very much a bar that also serves pizza. It's more for old men sitting around watching soccer and drinking hard liquor.

Lastly, I ordered my pizza over the phone. I was told 20 minutes and I got there 25 minutes later and they hadn't started my pizza!!!! There were no other pizzas in the oven either. They cook in a stone oven, btw, on metal racks. Amateur hour. The pizza was not good. Sauce had poor coverage and crust was very chewy and sticky. Not good balance. See more in my video...
