Philthy Philly's Hamilton — Restaurant in Hamilton

Is very rude staff... I was here today Sunday sunday, June 29th 2025 and I ordered buy food.There was too younger people in the restaurant who had also seemingly ordered food.... After they had waited for quite some time after I arrived.They went up to the counter and found out that the order had not been started after storing everything out The young People returned to their table. The Employees started talking in their language... After a few minutes a young gentleman stood up to get his food And he said to the staff that it is not right that they should be talking shit in their language about the two younger customers... He said I can understand you... it's a funny thing that people can understand in the world.And just because the people that spoke english did not understand doesn't mean that you should sit there and belittle them and talk trash about them.... For this fact I will never return to a philthy phillies again just to know that Staff are sitting there , making your order and talking shit about you in your language says a lot..... I do wonder how many more restaurants this happens at....I guess...

Unfortunately, the fries were undercooked in both of the poutines that I ordered yesterday at this location. Today I tried to go in to address the issue and they refused to do anything about it. I can send you a photo of the receipt upon request. The burgers were fine, but as mentioned, the poutines were not. Unfortunately, calling in wouldn't have really helped much because I wouldn't have been able to come back until today anyway. So, I went to speak with them in person about it. I live 30+minutes away from here which wouldn't have made it cost effective to return the same day. Ekdant refuses to help resolve the issue. Thus, I hope that somebody from customer service can help me. I was planning to order something else, but after they treated me like that, I left without anything. It's a shame because I have been ordering from philthy phillies for quite a while and generally love the food here. This experience is likely to influence my future visits, potentially.

The order was 2 Monday special burgers with jal jack cheese, a medium peppercorn steak poutine, and a medium meat...

Have attended this location for the obvious purposes of buying something to eat, I attended this establishment with my husband and my mother in law.

Upon entering, we were greeted by the front counter staff as well as a huge menu with so much to choose from. I personally did not know the difference between the 2 sauces that they offer so when they asked me what sauce I wanted and I hesitated, they offered me sauce in a little cup with a spoon to try each one so that I could see which one I like.

We ordered two sandwiches as well as a pulled pork poutine. The items were made fresh upon ordering, the wait time is about 10 minutes for the order once you place it to once you get it, which for fresh food is absolutely phenomenal.

The food itself is portioned so big, they don't call it Philthy Philly's for nothing, it gets messy but it's absolutely worth every drop and every penny that you drop on it.

PROS: Fresh Food, Friendly Staff, Above and Beyond Customer Service, Huge Portions
