Pizzaiolo on Ottawa Street is an absolute must-visit for pizza enthusiasts, particularly those with dietary restrictions. We recently dined there and were thoroughly impressed by the exceptional quality of their gluten-free pizza. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff. They patiently answered all our questions about the menu, particularly regarding gluten-free options. Their attentiveness and helpfulness immediately set a positive tone for our dining experience. The gluten-free pizza itself was truly outstanding. It was easily the best we've had from any takeout pizza place. The crust was perfectly cooked, with a delightful crispiness, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. We were particularly impressed by the restaurant's commitment to minimizing cross-contamination. They clearly label all menu items containing gluten and even take the extra step of cooking their gluten-free pizzas in a separate area. This attention to detail demonstrates a genuine commitment to catering to the needs of their customers with dietary restrictions. The overall experience at Pizzaiolo was exceptional. We highly recommend them to anyone seeking delicious pizza, especially those with gluten sensitivities or allergies. We are eager to return to try their regular pizzas, confident that they will be of equally high quality.

Time and time again, we wanted to support this local pizza chain. We have had several burnt pizzas, but it started getting better. We have been happy for the last few months. Last week, the pizza I ordered was all wrong, I was given a credit for a pizza that was delivered. I was happy with that. Today, I used my credit that was by word over the phone. I feel I was actually punished for using the credit. I waited 1 hour 20 mins and it had not arrived. I called, and I was told it is pick up for credit pizzas. I questioned this as I was not told that, and when given the credit I was told it would be delivered. Ok, he said 10 mins for delivery. I just waited an hour and 20 mins. I live literally 2 mins away walking distance. The pizza arrived burnt, cold , thin as paper, and the cheese was runny like glue ..gross. I threw it out. I won't be returning ever again. I'm disgusted with the customer service and the appearance quality and taste of this pizza. It seems like a punishment for cashing in my credit pizza . No apology for not telling me to pick up and waiting so long. We were hungry and angry. We ordered more than once a month before today. If the business doesn't care about it's customers I won't support them. They lost us as customers.

We stopped in here at lunchtime as we were waiting for our order across the street at Murray’s Farm butcher shop (5⭐️, too!) Had a slice of the Spinotto, and my hubby had the Canadiana. The slices are huge, and thankfully they cut in half; lol I ate the first half before snapping a pic of the second half! Excellent crust, fresh quality toppings. All pizzas in the display looked fresh and delicious, and there was a good selection to choose from if you just need a slice. Service to heat up was fast. We ate in, as they have a couple of little tables, and the place BTW looked pretty clean. For a pizza shop, the atmosphere was typical, perhaps brighter and cleaner than some I’ve been in. Overall, pleased and will return.
