Porcelain Hot Pot & Lounge — Restaurant in Hamilton

Today, my friends and I came to eat here to eat dinner. The atmosphere and the restaurant itself is very nice. For me, it felt like a high end hot pot restaurant and it was nice having your own pot. The food is also good and I enjoyed the vegetable section as well. The worst thing about this place is the service. My friends and I had to ask the server more than 3 times to order meat. Plus, they barely come to check in on you. We were at the restaurant for more than 2 hours, where most of it was spent on waiting for the food. They also forced my friend to leave a 10% tip. Im all for tipping servers that give good or even decent service, but when you have to ask 3 times for anything, that isnt good service. I think if they improved on their service, this place...

Server is rude and should not be working in the industry. Been here twice and thought the second time would show some improvement, but still nothing. Food took long to serve, she didn’t even check in on us once, spilled soup on me and half heartedly apologized while laughing. Could not even be bothered to make sure I was okay or bring back napkins to wipe myself off. Forced my party (table of 6 people) to give her tips that she didn’t earn, she tossed receipts to us and slammed the machine down when she didn’t receive the tip she demanded. I absolutely love this place. This is my favourite hot pot place I’ve ever been to. It’s $28.99 for all you can eat. You can get as much meat, fish, and veggies as you want for your hot pot. They have an insane variety of different proteins, veggies, and a wide variety of stuff to add to your own sauce. I like how this place gives everyone their own personal hot pot. I have been here a lot of times, and brought friends and family. The server is very kind to us as she knows us from being there so often.
