The Porcelain Hotpot Lounge was okay, but I wouldn’t say it was worth the $30+ all-you-can-eat price. A lot of the items from the self-serve bar weren’t available, and none of the sauces or sides were labeled, which made it a little confusing. Service could have been better, and the restaurant felt a bit plain with no music, no TVs, and no air-conditioning, so it wasn’t the most comfortable atmosphere.
What I did enjoy was their imported drinks selection—it was a nice highlight and something you don’t see everywhere.

Read moreFood was was decent, good amount and variety. My only other experience with hotpot is in Mississauga, so I would temper your expectations. Service was OK, a few items ordered did not come, we had to mention a couple times. Strange pricing strategy. It's $30 + $4-$8 for the broth. They should just bundle it and charge $35. Atmosphere was OK, the fridge area to get the side dishes felt out of date, but at least it was clean. Overall, it's decent considering it's in Hamilton, a bit pricy after tips and taxes comes up to $44. This is without...
