Completely terrible experience. Ordered take away ribs were ice cold, not even slightly warm. Couldn't get through on the phone to the restaurant. After multiple tries after multiple days finally got through. Left a message for the manager Norm to call us back, which he didn't. Managed to get through again after a few days, was able to speak with the manager. I asked him if you had received my message, he was aware that I had called. He told us that for him to be able to do anything we would have had to have brought the food back not very night for him to do anything. Used the excuse that people were always trying to rip the restaurant off by complaining about their food orders so that they could get stuff. He didn't even apologise.
I submitted a resolution request online because I received a reply in response to this review, I was provided with a link and after I filled out out I was told via email that I would hear back within two business days. It has been ten, and I haven't heard a word. It would appear that the customer service from head office isn't any better than the restaurant manager.
I ended up having to call the head office myself, I am now waiting to hear from the regional manager. I am curious to see what happens.
The regional manager called me straight away, he apologised and rectified the situation.

Read morePlaced an order online as most establishments prefer. Ordered 4 meals, and extra chalet sauce, and the desert donuts. Online said ready in 15 minutes so I arrived in 15 minutes. 3 of the meals were ready, on she said will be another 15 minutes. I'm not going to stand there for 15min while the other 3 meals are bagged and in my hands so has to settle for drumsticks instead if half chicken or wait and let the other 3 meals go cold. Got back home, the extra sauce I ordered was a chicken soup. One meal was missing its chalet sauce, and the Desert donuts were missing the caramel dip. 4 errors in one order. I tried calling the location a few times over an hour and got no answer. I drove back inquired about the mistakes. I was told they offer the donuts but they don't offer the caramel dip that's advertised. Between 4 of us we has 2 small chalet sauce dips to share, one meal that wasn't preferred, and dry donuts with no dip that tasted like they had been on the clearance shelf of a grocery store for being expired. Based off the other reviews it seems like this location needs a corporate evaluation and some training assistance to better represent the Swiss Chalet, or just shut it down so people choose a location that cares. I waited 5 minutes at the speaker for no one to take my order. I pull around to the drive thru window and I see 2 young kids laughing and joking around. The red head had his headset around his neck and an AirPod in his ear, the other guy wearing glasses didn’t have a headset on at all. We saw the manager with the long low pony tail not wearing a hair net make an appearance at the drive thru window, looked at me, did something on the computer and continued to turn and walk away from the window. I had been there for 15 minutes before anyone opened the window. I was so not impressed. The people that were behind me tried to get inside but they had locked the doors with half an hour left in business hours.
