We checked out The Alley after the hype of it's opening. Based on my experience I would consider The Alley as more of a premium bubble tea shop with unique flavours, aesthetic drinks and pretty packaging. We tried the Deerioca Fever with fresh milk and both drinks from the Aurora series. Deerioca is one size, $6 and the Aurora was $8 each. There was a 10 minute wait for the Aurora drinks to be prepared. The presentation of their drinks set themselves apart from other BBT joints in Hamilton, but in terms of taste I would say it is standard. The Deerioca fever is delicious but the only con is that you cannot customize anything about the drink - not even the ice level. I don't think I would wait and pay the price I did for the Aurora again, however it made for some pretty pictures!
Overall, it's an interesting place...

The Alley used to be my go-to bubble tea spot, but the last three visits have been incredibly disappointing. My order was wrong every time and I didn't receive a single apology or recognition for my time wasted. To top it off, I had to remind them about my order after waiting for half an hour and still no acknowledgement of my inconvenience. I would not recommend this place until they improve their customer service. A clear example of them not paying attention to detail and not caring about their customers, I asked for less ice and it was clearly acknowledged but they chose to put a glacier in my cup.
Old review - I’ve been coming here consistently and the service has always been amazing. The drinks are great, I usually get the Honey...

First off the Deerioca Fever is amazing. You think you could keep it simple and classic, this goes beyond your regular realm of bbt friends!
Back to the friendly service. My first time there I got the ever-so-great Deerioca and of course as I was shaking the cup to blend the wonderful flavours together, I, of course dropped the whole cup which shattered and drained everything on the street (go ahead and judge, I know). So I decided to go back to the friendly eyes (cause you know they are always following precautions👌) and tell him the situation. With no hesitation he said, “That was the Deerioca right?!” And been boo bam, I fell in love with the drink and the location! So that concludes my fortunate and unfortunate first time at The Alley...
