This is one of the worst locations. I have stopped in here multiple times while working in the area and this will be my last. This location is poorly staffed except for one gentleman who I unfortunately do not know the name of. On my visit here today there were 4 people ahead of me the line was moving slowly but I wasn't in a dire hurry. One young lady was slowly wiping down counters and the sandwich station while one gentleman was left to serve. My days working tim hortons ended around 2 years ago but I will always remember the phrase stop drop and help because of Tim's. This location needs to learn that phrase in my opinion. All the orders ahead of me were drink items I was the next one with food the gentleman took my order for 2 slow-cooked cilantro lime wraps informed me they didn't have slow cooked so I settled for crispy and a bottle of coke. The order came to just over 20 dollars. At this moment is when 2 other staff came out including the gentleman that provides good service they cleared the rest of the line and I waited for my food. During the time I was there there was a thermal container of just under 2 pots flashing red . . . . Expired bad coffee as per picture and when I brought my food back to work with me the chicken was so old and crunchy it could have broken teeth, so I opened up the wraps and as you can see per the picture the chicken was also burnt. This location had tiles missing in their dining room as well not sure who owns this location but they definitely need to visit and show it some appreciation. . . . . Encourage staff on good practices and maybe do a whole over haul who knows . . . . Hopefully head office still do random inspections as this one is looooong over due. Never coming back even if I just need...
Read moreSadly it is one of the worst Tim Horton Locations there are. The staff are not kind to each other, they are not friendly to the customers. I go there only when I have to, as it is the only one on route for me. They do not greet you, they do not offer other items, they do not say please, and half the time they do not even tell you your total they just stand there and look at you, and never a thank you or have a nice day. Not even a smile. There is an older lady there that is very rude that does not wear her name tag, probably a good idea for her. She gets the orders wrong, when you ask if your coffee is decaf as requested she just glares at you. Most Tim Hortons that I go to put a line around the rim for decaf so I do not need to ask. This morning Crystal was on the bagel breakfast counter, she was wearing gloves but I have no idea why, she wiped her nose 3 times with the back of the glove, then put her hand in the bag of biscuits, the back of her glove clearly touching the inside of the bag. It was very busy and only 1 person was taking orders. My orders are usually wrong, so I always double check before leaving the store now. The only time I ever had good service was a day there seemed to be corporate people there and they asked me to complete a survey about the service that day. LOL only that day was good. Honestly, it is not worth the hassle to stop there in the mornings. I bypass my morning coffee just...
Read moreUnfortunately, this Tim Horton’s has fallen short of the basic standards one would expect from any coffee shop in Canada. First of all, the cleanliness is a problem with wasps and flies throughout the restaurant. One of their regular customers brings in their pet iguana which lays on a dining table top. I’m shocked that the staff allow a reptile in the restaurant when the rules around animals in food service areas are pretty clear. The staff even give the iguana cheese treats. Cute, but gross.
What led me to leave this review is that I’ve now been let down twice by their “cappuccino”. The first time I ordered one, the milk was not frothed, it was all just lukewarm liquid, heavy and filled to the brim. The second time I ordered one (this morning), the sever tried to pull a fast one gave me a regular coffee with a bunch of cold milk in it. He even labelled it a cappuccino! When I brought this to their attention after almost driving away, they claimed their espresso machine was broken. I highly suggest the owner review health and safety standards with their staff. As well, learning to communicate to customers (good and bad information) which is important to manage expectations and avoid upsetting situations like this one.
You and your staff...
