I'm not sure where to start so let me start off with TOMAH IS AMAZING.

FOOD: The food was absolutely top notch. I've had their falafel (which I didn't even like prior to trying theirs), shawarma, chicken kabobs (my personal favourite), house pickles (the best I've ever had), cheese springs rolls (to die for), fattoush salad and their quinoa salad, their tea (simply the BEST) and 4 or 5 other items. We had a 100 person event and not one single person left the event hungry. I've been receiving compliments on how delicious the food was for the past 24 hours. They even went above and beyond and threw in speciality items! And managed to accommodate all of our food restrictions (Vegan, Vegetarian, GF, Dairy Free)

SERVICE: I recently held a 100 person work event and had the large job of organizing the catering. Now, ordering catering for any event is challenging, but a work event even moreso. Not only did TOMAH make the process easy and seamless, but they dealt with me changing my order literally 10 times. They constantly communicated with me, confirmed my order, spoke with me on the phone to ensure I was satisfied and were overall great to deal with.

This was one of the best experiences I have ever had with catering and after visiting their restaurant today to drop off equipment, I knew I had to write a review.

This is the epitome of a family owned business that you MUST try and support. Top notch food that is made with love, and it shows.

UPDATE (DEC 23, 2023) Finally back at Tomah for a dine-in experience to celebrate my partner's birthday. I knew I was having Falafel since I'd been so impressed with the delicious heart-shaped ones we'd had before. I was tempted by the Crispy Fried Fish (which my partner had - and thoroughly enjoyed), so next time, I'll have that. Three of my companions had the Falafel Sandwich Plate and one the Shawarma Plate, so I had a few of their fries. They are, as I had mentioned in my original review, so delicious! A delicious sweet tea was offered as we perused the menu, and tasty little date filled cookies as dessert. We left sated and satisfied (and with leftovers).

ORIGINAL REVIEW: Fantastic first experience at Tomah. Ordered several takeout platters of falafel wraps and shawarma wraps for a family gathering. Both types of wraps were delicious. Side orders of fries were excellent - crispy outside, fluffy on the inside. The heart-shaped falafel included were very cute. The dips included with platters and as side dishes (hummus, muttabal, and labneh) were so flavourful! We also enjoyed the Vine Leaves and Chickpea soup. Their hospitality is excellent - we were slightly early for our pick-up time and were served some delicious tea while we waited. Tomah restaurant in Hamilton truly exceeded my expectations with their exceptional Syrian cuisine! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality, setting the tone for a fantastic dining experience.
