Hand hygiene.

I watched a staff member cough (into her sleeve as supposed to) not wash her hands, then reach into a drawer and pull out a used glove. She put the glove on, did her task, then put the glove back in the drawer.

(That was pertaining to the customer in front of me).

When making my order, someone came along with a stainless steel mug. She handled the lid and mug to put water in it for them. Did not clean her hands and proceeded to continue with my order. Handling my lid.

I finally spoke up and said “can we please remember to clean our hands? You just handled someone else’s used mug and then handled my lid without cleaning your hands”

She stated “I’ll get you a new lid”.

She did not clean her hands before getting me a new lid. So I reiterated “it doesn’t matter if you get me a new lid if you still haven’t cleaned your hands.”

She didn’t respond. She simply completed my order with her dirty hands and I walked away.

Staff need more training on the importance of hand hygiene and the appropriate time for such. Working in healthcare I will happily wait an extra minute for my order if it means someone is preparing it with...

The drinks tasted good, but got cold very fast. They have so many options for syrup and milk! The cashier was friendly, but got confused easily. The owners or the managers on the other hand, were not friendly or welcoming at all. They weren't very busy, but the service was still very slow. One of the baristas, the wife of the manager, does great latte art, but any and all the others just do mediocre. Another time, I ordered a plain drip coffee, but the boy who poured it for me had to make me a new one because, "something had fallen into it". I'm glad he didn't serve it, but that's disgusting. They order in all their food, so they aren't responsible for how dry it is. All of it looks so good, but the taste is not equivalent. I never have a good experience trying to order here. The staff frequently doesn't understand their own menu, or gets upset if I ask for details about their syrup flavors despite a sign that says to ask them about customization options.

Today I wanted a macchiato. I asked what the syrup flavors in sugar free were - Vanilla, Hazelnut, and Caramel. I ordered a macchiato with syrup free caramel syrup. Not a Caramel Macchiato (vanilla syrup, Macchiato, and caramel drizzle). Macchiato is ON the menu, Caramel Macchiato is a different item on the menu.

The employee couldn't understand what I meant. Corrected me that caramel macchiato uses caramel drizzle and he could make it with sugar free vanilla and leave off the caramel.... Which isn't what I wanted.

I ended up just not getting a coffee. All this after having to wait about 15 minutes to even...
