I usually stop by this ice cream shop whenever I visit the mall. While the portion sizes are smaller compared to other places and don’t quite match the price, I’ve always found it manageable and usually order a double scoop with a waffle cone and nut topping. However, my experience today was disappointing. I came there after 4pm and was waiting to be served, and despite making direct eye contact with a male staff member, he completely ignored me and chose to help another customer who arrived after me. I was patient and waited, but even after finishing with the other person, he continued to act like I wasn’t there. Only after I stared at him for a moment did he finally acknowledge me with a dismissive “oh” and then proceeded to serve me the smallest scoop imaginable—definitely not worth the $10 I paid. What’s worse is that he scanned his own membership or points card without even asking if I had one, which felt dishonest and completely unprofessional.
