Boston Pizza — Restaurant in Kelowna

The service was great and the atmosphere was okay, very loud but we know what we are getting there. The problem is the food. We got the fried ravioli starter and it is very bland, even with the dip. No one loved it, we were just hungry enough that we ate it. One of us had the make your own pasta and it was the Alfredo. The Alfredo is very commercial tasting, like out of a jar. It is not good, we all tried it. One didn't hate it and the other two of us thought it was gross. No flavor, super bland and tasted like something we could make a home with a jar of Alfredo from the grocery store. I remember liking the spicy perogy pizza in the past, so that is what I got. And I will never get it again. Bland is the theme of the day, no flavor other than the spice. If you have bacon, it probably is a little better. But it was dry and tasted like nothing. I ended taking Alfredo sauce and adding it to it for some sort of flavor....which is saying a lot since the Alfredo sauce is awful. I ended up giving up eating it and threw it out at home. Their pizza is crazy expensive and not good enough for the price. The last of us got the BBQ chicken pizza. She seemed to like it as we did not hear any complaints. However, we all agreed in the end, this would be the last time we would eat there. The night before, we had gone to Atlas steak house in Kamloops and all 6 of us loved our food and we paid about the same price for the food. Way better atmosphere and 100 times better food. It felt like I wasted $100 at Boston Pizza and for what? Not a fan of them anymore and I feel they should be embarrassed at the price of their pizza and the taste. In the past they may have been known for their pizza but not anymore. No way they can justify those prices. It was sad, but we learned our lesson...

We went to break our fast during Ramadan. We asked the server approximately how long it would take for the food to arrive. He said 10-15 minutes. We were totally fine with waiting and ordered one large perogy pizza with NO BACON! The food took around 25 minutes to come, but no complaints. But when it arrived he gave it to us in a box and not any plates or a stand for the pizza? We were a bit confused but asked another server for plates and started to eat. We had ate one slice, when I looked at the pizza and saw bits of bacon everywhere. We called a server to confirm, and he said “oops my bad” when we asked him why we had bacon on the pizza, when we CLEARLY said “no bacon”. He then says he can make us another pizza, and since we were already there, and had no food eaten for the whole day, we decided to wait another 20 minutes for another pizza to be made, without bacon. He comes back with ANOTHER BOX, and no plates. We then ask him why is he giving us a box and not plates or a proper pizza stand. He then states that we asked for “to go”. We never had said anything about to go, and we had even already ordered our drinks when we came in. Why would we sit and wait, and order drinks for a TO GO PIZZA? He then argues with us and yells back saying, “you ordered to go!” When all of us at the table can confirm we did not. Horrible customer service, extremely rude and unorganized. I was not happy with the Super Bowl party experience to please nicely know at the Dilworth Kelowna location tonight. I could have chosen a few other places. But I paid to be there and paid long in advance and was one of the earliest arrivals.

Not much was said about anything! I had to ask at game start and I was in there an hr and a half to game start even. Arrived at 2 pm.

I decided to not do the squares as I only found out right before game start and had no idea on the 50/50.

The beer prices were very high and in smaller red cups. So this was such a money grab to max.

The prizes were more KC based than anything else and I am not a Chiefs fan for many reasons so I was glad to not have won anything.

They really over served a few ppl and especially this one guy wearing a Blue Jays hat as he was so hammered!

It did not look like the 50/50 pot was going in full to the winner and no charity was mentioned! Many are oblivious but not me. Many played but not much cash given.

Can you answer any of this please? Was not pleased.

Service was just ok and I still tipped lots and at end a mic would have been good so there wasn't ppl telling others to shut up etc! Just not organized much! Was Mickey Mouse level to know. I will have to review as such.
