You want breakfast? This place makes Cora's look like a truck stop and Denny's look the slop-line in prison. The coffee tastes like Starbucks filing for bankruptcy. You'd need a week of Sundays just to try all the things you'll want to order as soon as you crack the menu. I finally decided on the chicken & waffles. The waffles are crispy on the outside and melt in your mouth - the fried chicken thighs are just the same. Prefectly tender and juicy inside of a crispy, light and just-right coating. It comes with hot honey on it, but the salted maple syrup is in a cute little cup on the side. The owners must have a sense of humor if they think anyone is going to want any less than "all of it". There are some pickles and radishes laid out on top, and they're not just to make your instagram photo look like you're eating on a yacht... the flavors all marry perfectly. If I lived in Kelowna, i'd be standing outside Porter's 3 days a week waiting for them to unlock the door. This is foodie food.

Was in Kelowna just after NYE and went for brunch with my son. His roommate had suggested a few places and we opted for Porter’s. A very unique atmosphere with exposed brick walls, ducting and ventilation right above you with 30ft ceilings and lots of windows. Being winter we sat inside but I can only imagine how amazing their patio must be in the warm Kelowna sun! The menu offers a variety of unique items, all of which sounded delicious and tempting but we finally settled on the Korean Pork Belly breakfast bowl with kimchi and gochujang. With all the flavours of the ingredients I thought it best to get the Hollandaise on the side so I could add it as I saw fit. The bowls arrived and was instantly making our mouths salivate just at the sight and smell! I’ll definitely be returning to Porter’s my next visit to Kelowna to try some of the other creative menu items!

Just stunning! Carnivore Breakfast Bowl - eggs poached perfectly soft, potatoes were very flavorful and soft yet crisp. Among the best breakfast potatoes I’ve had anywhere. Hollandaise was rich and flavorful but not heavy. Biscuit was fresh and soft. Chicken and Waffles - best southern fried chicken anywhere, even better than the gold standard we’ve had in Nashville. The definition of perfection. Ultra crisp yet still incredibly juicy. The salted maple syrup was another lovely touch. Waffles were also textbook perfection. Ambience - they’ve nailed the modern industrial look. Would be just as at home as a chique restaurant in Yaletown as it is in an industrial park in Kelowna. Looking forward to returning to Kelowna just to come back here. Forget about visiting family, this restaurant alone is worth the trip!

I had stopped at Porter's because I have heard so many wonderful things about this restaurant on Saturday, March 1st!!

I walked into Porter's and was greeted right away by a beautiful young lady. The place was hopping to say the least. The hostess asked if I wanted a table, but I assured her a seat at the bar would be where I love to sit at any place I go.

Right away a young bartender had asked what she could get me. I did introduce myself to her and she told me her name is Kelly! This is why I love sitting at the bar. You get to know the bartender, watch all the action around you and just enjoy the ambiance! Thank you Kelly for a start of a wonderful day!! xo

Kelly asked me what I would like to drink and I asked her if adult beverages were served here. She smiled and said of course. Well, here comes my Saturday Caesar! Delicious xo Next up is pursuing the menu to see what I wanted for lunch!! Okay I have to admit, there are not enough places that have hot dogs on their menu, and these guys did not disappoint!!

I ordered a hot dog with just cheese, mustard and lots of pickles!! Yummy, the bun was so fresh and the hot dog was heaven (to me anyway) and it was served with a salad on the side. Well the size of this hot dog was exceptionally huge!! It took me a while to eat it because I was just enjoying the thought of knowing that I can come back and get more. The salad? It came home with me because it was a large meal. Delicious salad and I had it for my dinner.

After an amazing meal, I snuck over to Copper Brewing!! There I was amazed by all of the craft beers on tap and also a fridge with take aways!! I was like a kid in a candy shop as my eyes went over all of the shelves full of beer that I could take home with me!! Yippee! xo

I finally made my selection and I choose 4 different types of beer for later! xo While I was looking around I noticed that there was a can with their ladies t-shirts in them. Wow intrigued!! So of course, I love supporting local and purchasing merchandise that I get to where all of the time. So I snagged a new Copper Brewing t-shirt!!

This was my first time going to Porter's/Copper Brewing and it certainly will not be my last!! Everyone made me feel so welcomed xo Thank you Porter's and Copper Brewing for a fantastic Saturday xo I will see you guys again...

Gf and I were excited for brunch after a wedding and found this place in Google maps. I had a difficult time finding it a second time for some reason but eventually found it. Worth the dedication

We were immediately met and seated. I really wanted to try the fluffy souffle pancake and got one with my crispelle breakfast as a side. It might have just been a fluffier than normal pancake, but it was hella good. The flavors were really noticeable in my crispelle pork belly and even the salad! Not normally a salad in the morning guy, but this stood out. The gf's Benny's were also excellent. She doesn't tend to finish her meals, and while bennies aren't the best meal to take leftovers of (we were driving home) it was worth it. That second hit of hollandaise really hit the spot for a quick lunch near Cache Creek. The coffee admittedly tasted a bit more sour than I expected. I chalked it up to just a brand/flavor that wasn't my style, though I was offered a new cup that I politely declined. Do not let that deter you. Considering the place is pretty new, I was surprised it wasn't busier or their prices higher. Very affordable for the quality of food we got. If you think you have to find the food gems in the downtown, you're wrong. I hope Porters is still around next time I come through so I can try the...

Visit 2: Unfortunately a night and day experience compared to our last visit. I ordered the beef dip again, but this time they forgot the onions. My partner looked and I specifically lifted the meat to check if it was on the bottom. Our server took the sandwich back to the kitchen and returned with the plate covered in crispy onions and the sandwich full of them, claiming that the onions had been on the bottom I just didn't see them. Before I had time to say anything except for "oh.." she briskly walked away. No tomato in my garden salad this time and the service was lacking and abrupt. I don't like that the kitchen didnt take accountability for their mistake and then brought back a really sloppy plate/sandwich covered in onions. Felt a little like they took revenge on my sandwich because I asked for what I had ordered to be correct. I won't be going back. :/ Disappointing.

Visit 1: We had the chicken and waffles as well as the beef dip. The house made jus for the beef dip was great but the sandwich was good on its own even without it. I forced myself to get a salad and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Great service as well! it was a full house but we had at least 4 visits from our server from sit down til getting our bill. 5/5 definitely...
