Denied us a table at 8:40, saying they were “at capacity for walk-ins” even though there were 15+ tables available. I most definitely am not fake, nor is my review. My fiancé and I walked in at 8:40 PM last night trying to get a table and that’s exactly what happened. I literally have a receipt for the Indigo parking lot right across the street. But honestly, given your response to my review, I am now quite happy that we didn’t end up dining there and supporting your business because you are very unprofessional and honestly quite disrespectful. Very happy I did not end up supporting a business that operates like this. As it seems typical after reading other negative reviews, you have now changed your response to my review. Please see this picture for the restaurant’s original response. And here we go again with the unprofessional reviews, all because what? I posted how you truly act and treat people maybe don’t treat people that way if you don’t want it out in public! Maybe I will just go and take this public on my social media. Why don’t you fill in that ….. for me? Even though I already know what you’re hinting at. I honestly am quite appalled that your restaurant is still in business. If this is how you treat people that leave you a bad review maybe you learn to take criticism and run a better restaurant so you don’t end up with all these reviews. Honestly, laughable. And honestly, judging by the other reviews of how you treat customers that have come and sat down in your restaurant I am extremely glad I did not spend a penny at your disgusting establishment. Also, you have way too much time on your hands for you to be sitting there looking into every customer that leaves you a bad review and go and read their other reviews, insulting them, and using their personal lives and other reviews against them, as I can tell, I’m definitely not the first. I would say this restaurant stays open another six months to a year before you run out of business and people learn how disgusting the people that own it truly are. And maybe it’ll speed up a bit when I post on social media about how you treat your customers and people that wanted to dine at your restaurant. I am honestly quite appalled with your treatment of someone that wanted to dine in there. Had you maybe responded to the review respectfully and offered to get us in at another time, I would’ve been more than happy to potentially even take my review down if the food has actually been good and leave a good review, which I’ve heard it isn’t, and honestly, with the reviews of how terrible your service are, I can almost guarantee I wouldn’t have left a good review. but you are honestly just crashing and burning your own restaurant one response at a time. I have had the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant from your restaurant and I didn’t even get the chance to dine there or try your food lol. I wish I had gotten a screenshot of them calling me a slur using …… , Sadly, they changed their response too quickly for me to do it, but the owner was saying I dressed like a W H O R E.

The service was really good but the kitchen did not match. The drinks and wine were good. The online menu didn’t match the actual menu. The courses we were hoping to order were not on the menu when we arrived. A little unfortunate, not an issue at all. We ordered something else. But several items on their menu were also not available that evening. Again unfortunate. But the ragù/bolognese was drowned with parmigiana, which was not stated on the menu. Very unfortunate. Some like it with, some don’t, maybe I should been asked, maybe it should have been offered after, at the table. My understanding is that it’s without, but can be added at the table. Then the dessert, we ordered two different ones, but they returned and said they ran out of their famous Tiramisu. A very easy dessert to make fresh, we’ve seen it get prepared in like a couple of minutes in Rome, so they must have ran out of ingredients I guess. So we shared a different one. It was good but we were set on tiramisu. It was an okay evening. But to many things didn’t mesh or go well. Would we come back, I don’t think so

We attended the jazz jam next to the restaurant and were told we can order from Roma Nord and they would bring it to us while we enjoy the jazz. This sounded lovely as it is difficult to get a reservation to dine in. My friends and I did exactly that but although we all ordered at the same time, my food came out 35 minutes later than theirs. So they all finished eating by the time I decided to ask the staff to double check my food was on the way. But when I inquired about my meal the staff were very standoffish and rude. I understand mistakes or being busy, so the way they responded to me asking very kindly and just wondering about the wait and if it was being made, really put me off. Not to mention, my friends meals all came in a nice dish but when mine arrived it was in a take out container. Nonetheless, when I finally did eat my carbonara it was delicious. I get my experience here is definitely due to the dine in customers being prioritized and I am sure the service at the table is much better. But you should not offer a take out service with the jazz jam if the restaurant cannot handle it or if you are going to shun and look down on customers who do choose to dine with you through that route.

My husband and I were recently at the Restauant on Father's Day. A very busy day I am sure. We sat down, very lovely with the white table cloths. We had a delightful waitress. We started with a nice 1/2 litre of wine and the muscles. On the menu it said Muscles in white wine sauce, we were a bit surprised to see a red sauce. Our waitress told us they put red sauce in the white wine sauce. Ok, they were delicious along with the garlic toast. We also ordered a pasta in a meat sauce, it said it is done with a fettuccine noodle. We asked if we could have it with a spaghetti noodle instead. She said it was not a problem, they do this all the time. When it arrived it was with the fettuccine noodle, and it was also over cooked not al dente like it should have been cooked. It was very soft. When the waitress asked how it was, we were truthful about the mistake with the noodles, and that it was over cooked. She came back and told us they would take it off our bill. Very nice. Next we ordered the Veal Chop, it was also over cooked and very dry. Not what we had expected. The waitress came back and once again we were honest. She offered to have another one cooked for us but by that time we were ready to go home and it would have probably taken a bit of time. When we asked for our check she told us they were not going to give us one tonight. I told her we really wanted one as we enjoyed the wine and the muscles. She then said that "they" have decided that "this was probably not the restaurant for you! " We were a bit shocked by this to say the least. We always believe in giving a second chance and I am sure they were very busy in the kitchen that night. They made their mistakes ours. Too bad as from the reviews a lot of people have had good experiences. We have never been told not to come back anywhere we have gone. Good luck! Get your facts straight, I never introduced myself as a chef!!!! By your comments the only thing you are doing is humiliating yourself. If people don't give you a five star rating you disrespect them. How does this help your restaurant and your name. You seem to have anger issues. Maybe you should address those! I was not mean, I spoke the truth. I also gave you compliments but you in your anger failed to see them. Good luck, your true colours have come out! I never asked you to give us a free meal, as a matter of fact I asked to please have the check. We left the lovely waitress a generous tip as none of this was her fault. I said the Mussels were delicious and we enjoyed the wine. We had asked for a different noodle for the bolognese sauce which the waitress said was no problem. It came wrong! I wish you good luck, but with your attitude life for you must be really difficult. I suggest you calm down or you are going to have a heart attack!

NO, those are not the facts, here are the facts: First off you don't know us, we are kind respectful people and give to the communities we live in. I gave you a three star review, you were not happy and responded in a very unkind way. Telling us not to ever return to your restaurant among other things, which you have edited out because it showed your true character. My only recourse was to take your three star down to a one star. You were not happy and said more unkind things which you once again edited out. We did have wine and Mussels that I stated were delicious. We did not finish the Fettuccini that was supposed to be Spaghetti. The waitress packed the remains up which I should have left on the plate. I took it home and put it in the garbage. We did not finish the Veal chop, I cut the bone off to chew on which was on my plate and the rest of the meat was on my husband's plate which he did not finish. We asked for the check, it was you that wanted to give us a free meal. When I go out for dinner I don't want a free meal, I want to pay for a good meal! We wish you good health and lots of success. I hope you will also be kinder and more respectful of people...

I can’t even add anything about the food because we didn’t even get to that point. I’ve been dying to check this place out, as my husband had gone before to their Thursday jazz night and said it was great. We got there around 7:45 pm and the place was busy, but still a decent amount of open seating (some reservation signs and some without). It was just the two of us and we were walk-ins (last minute chance that we were able to be childless for the night or else we would have planned in advance). The (very awkward) waitress came up and asked us about our reservations, we said we didn’t have any (just looking for a quick bite to eat and one drink because we had to pick our child up at 8:45 pm down the street, but we didn’t tell her that part). Well, she walked away and said she’d be back. I watched her this entire time. She disappeared for a bit, helped some tables, chit chatted with some other waitresses (everyone seemed quite young working there and like they were all high school friends), which definitely wasn’t a convo about a table for us (laughing, smiling, obvs casual talk). She was taking so long, (thought she forgot about us at this point) that another waiter came by and was wondering why we weren’t seated and if someone was helping us. I told him we didn’t have reso’s and that waitress was checking. He immediately looked frustrated and apologized, then walked away to find out what was going on. Once he speaks to her, she walks back over and in a very obvious disconcerting voice says “sorry, but we aren’t taking walk-ins, we are full of reservations for the night.” First off..this was 7:45 pm…the place says on google it’s open until 11:55 pm! You’re telling me, that they are booked for reso’s until that point? (Which we asked and she just said “yaaa…”) what restaurant books their entire night with just reservations and leaves ZERO walk-in space? This isn’t New York at some 5 star Michelin restaurant owned by Jay-Z. Second, we were pretty sure she didn’t even ACTUALLY check. Third, they just had Jazz night, where not long ago the other half of their restaurant was full and is now completely empty, because they close that side down after the music I guess. Well, if you guys know you’re that busy on a Thursday and you can handle managing that side at the same time, then why don’t you leave part of that side open? Especially when you decide to follow poor business practices, like only taking reservations and not leaving room for any walk-ins? If you check my google reviews, I literally never leave bad ones. I try not to be a Karen because I’ve worked the restaurant/retail/customer service industry and I know how hard it is. Never once when I worked as a waitress, did a restaurant just shut people down when the restaurant was open for another 4 hours! Yes, we only had an hour, but they didn’t know that. She never said…oh it’s a 2 hour wait. Literally just said it was full, as if she knew that from the beginning and just pretended to walk away and check. Most restaurants will seat you at a bar, or at least try and accommodate like “oh there’s a reso at 11, but their table is open possibly at 10, if you’re willing to only stay an hour we can fit you in, etc). Or if you’re only going to take reservations on Thursdays, SAY THAT ON YOUR WEBSITE. There were so many ways that whole situation could have been avoided or at least an attempt at reconciliation, so we’d actually be understanding and just come back another night. But once we were treated like dirt, forgotten about, and then given a pretty lame and confusing answer, there was no way I wasn’t going to say...
