Sweet streams is the perfect place to get a dirty soda and unwind after a long day. If you don’t know what a dirty soda its a must try! It’s a perfect mixture of soda as the base with syrups of any kind and any flavour of cold foam you could imagine! Also the staff and owner are the sweetest people you will ever meet! Acknowledge you even before you walk through the door, sweet, kind, and always welcoming and give great recommendations. After finding out how hard and dedicated the owner was into building this place and the amount of work she has done to make this place a reality, made me admire and appreciate this place even more. If you haven’t met the owner yet she’s an amazing girl boss who will greet you wholeheartedly and welcome you in to try a dirty soda! I was at the farmers market and thought I’d try one of the “energy” dirty sodas…it’s 8+ dollars for superstore club soda (carbonated water) and fruity pump flavouring used in coffees, ….not sure where the energy part comes in when I wasted money on glorified carbonated water?? The menu did not state it was carbonated water or I wouldn’t have even purchased this. Let alone do not state what the “energy” factor actually is. The girl serving was very sweet though! I was really excited and instead got a drink that tasted like watered down juice? Shop is very cute and located in main tourist area of downtown Kelowna. Service was good. Drink was just okay. Found the nearly $9 price tag for a medium Dr. Pepper with coconut and lime to be excessive. It did taste good though and the pink heart straw is a nice touch and the all plastic cup is definitely desirable in a world trying to change everything to paper. The other thing lacking here was the snack options. Once the pretzel bites are available this will feel like more of an experience rather than just a drink place. Also if the strawberries they make at their carts ever become available in the downtown store I’ll become a regular. Best chocolate strawberry...
