I can’t believe how poor the service is here. I work right nearby and in hospitality and being from hospitality I take reviews seriously. I have consistently had poor service at this location and the only reason I went back sometimes was purely out of proximity to work in the morning but now I don’t even care I won’t be trying again. The last transaction I had with them we were trying to order a couple things in the drive thru, (farmers wraps) we were told we’d need to wait 5 mins for hash browns so we needed a second to discuss our options as we were in a bit of a rush. Then tried to order an ice Capp and told they didn’t have those for the day so we were again, trying to decide another option. While we were discussing (all of like 30 seconds) the staff member actually said “can you hurry up there is a line up behind you now”. I just couldn’t believe it. When we got to the window, my partner was pretty upset and asked to speak to a manager. The woman who was speaking to us in the drive thru said she was the manager and just gave us a stare. When my partner went inside to get our food and talk to them as we got pulled around, he discovered that that staff member was not even in fact the manager, so ended up speaking to the actual manager who simply gave us another wrap for free and a sorry won’t happen again. Read moreOn Nov 11th my fiance went through the drive thru and ordered a coffee. While driving down the highway he reached for his coffee and the lid popped off and the hot coffee went everywhere. He burned his leg and his seat was covered. I immediately called corporate office and reported the incident and they informed me that they were aware of the lid problem and have received many complaints pretaining to the "popping off" lid. The corporate employee told me she had opened a case and recorded my details. She assured me that the owner of the Pier Mac Tim Hortons would be in touch within 7 business days. On our way back home we stopped at this location and asked to speak to the manager on duty. She wasn't available so I left my details and explained the situation. I felt very rushed by the employee and she didnt even bother to ask if my fiance was okay, or offer an apology. Two weeks had gone by and I still hadn't heard back from the manager. We ended up having to get our car detailed. Coffee cream in your seats, smells absolutely rotten!! I reached out once again to corporate and I was assured that it was the franchise owners responsibly to reach out and they had my information. I'll preface this by saying I'm not the kind of person who usually leaves a review, anywhere. Even if I've had absolutely terrible service.
Service here is and has been so consistently awful for so long that I can't conscious not leaving one anymore. Despite ordering the exact same thing daily for years, the items I receive are now more often wrong than right and that is only when they even have the item available.
Many regular menu items are never ready or even available to order at the drive through. They constantly tell me to wait out front for items that are on hand at any other Tim's drive through I visit in the city.
As i said earlier, same order every day. Coffee with the same thing in it. Don't always receive the right size or ingredients. Regularly ask for the same donut and just get told "they're not ready". For weeks at a time? Often when they say they do have it, I am given a different but similar one, not realizing until I've bitten in.
Their egg bites are never ready to order, always heated from cold on ask. Other heated menu items are hit and miss but always take longer than any other locations.
