Earlier today, this morning to be exact at 7 AM or close to it I walked inside and ordered from the cashier. However, they mixed up my order.
I’ve only been there three times. The first time I was there about a week ago, I had to walk out because I was standing in line for 15 minutes and all I saw behind the counter was chaos. Not enough staff and I couldn’t wait very long. So I went back twice more like a fool. The second time they got my order wrong and I was clear about what I wanted. They had to add tomato and lettuce but I ordered an egg belt so they should know. The woman this morning with short, dark hair and glasses, (I think) and she got angry with me about her’s and the original cashiers screwup delivering me a round croissant and snarling about how many different types of croissants they had. Not a great way to start my day to say the least!. This was my third and final visit. She kept arguing with me about what kind of croissants they have. When I said “plain croissant, please“ I told her calmly that this was their mistake not mine. Pull the video. I will never go back there, so don’t bother reaching out to me. The two previous times I was in there, another staff member didn’t understand what I wanted. I mean seriously I’ve ordered the same egg belt at other locations and they know what I’m talking about. Then I also told her calmly that I will never be back. And I mean what can I say. I am a school bus driver, and I’ve told my friends which are not to go there. They won’t. The service is bad long waits in line chaotic atmosphere and rude, angry staff unprovoked. Two...
Read moreDine in seems nice. The drive thru is horrible. Worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life. Let's begin at the order menu. Sometimes you end up waiting forever for someone to realize there's a customer. Everytime I've been there, tried ordering my usual order. And everytime I say my order they make me repeat it because they didn't get it. I'm tired of hearing "could you speak up? I couldn't hear you". I'm already screaming into the mic trying to order. And they want me to speak louder. Now when we arrive at the pickup window. I usually drive up to 3 people staring at me out the window. 1 person with my drink/whatever else I ordered. Shoving it into my car. 1 person with the debit machine shoving that into my car trying to get me to pay as fast as I can while I have my order in my hand trying to quickly put it away. Meanwhile a bystander not sure what their job is to do there. But they're doing their thing. It's a brutal mess, they don't greet you at the window. There's 0 friendliness. No respect for a customer. I seem like they're trained to rush a customer out of the drive thru and have them drop their order all over their car. I hate coming to this time Hortons but unfortunately it's the only closest one in the direction of my travel every morning. It's a seriously unfortunate thing. I asked one worker where I can complain about the problems here. And the worker told me the big boss knows about the problems but they keep saying that it's nothing to worry about and doesn't need fixing. That's quite...
Read moreBe smart. When two acquainted customers go to the second till, take both orders. Don't take only one order and ignore the other customer and leave him at an empty till waiting to get service especially when orders at the other till are being taken. I waited in that line for a long time just to wait for even longer while everyone still in that line got their order taken. I would have re-entered the line but new customers continued filling the line up and I did not know I was going to wait for her to make food for the next three orders. Even when I asked to get my order taken since I was waiting for a long time now, She said "I'm making sandwich" and left me waiting. Could have communicated to your team, maybe let the person taking orders take mine? After she finished making the food, she began making drinks. At this point, people who had entered the store recently have gotten their order. I left.
Another time, I entered and stepped off to the side to text a friend who I was meeting here very shortly. There was almost no customer at this time and it was very cold outside. The lady asked me if I was ready to order. I kindly told her that I will order as soon after I finish what I was doing. Not even a minute later I was approached and asked to leave the establishment if I was not going to order anything. I said that I will order but I need a minute. I was then told to order my food now. I left and went to...
