Note this review took place Jun 24. I realized it never got posted so I re-wrote it.
I have never in my entire life seen such bad service and I truly mean that. This review will give you a laugh. Today was the Oilers Game 7, and the oilers losing was the second saddest performance in that room. 1st off when it started to get busy the waiters just gave up? I don’t know how else to phrase it but they simply just stood at the back counter and refused to do there job. They didn’t greet people or give them a seat, they wouldn’t give out menus, they wouldn’t take peoples orders. I truthfully don’t know how they weren't embarrassed. Now you may say well they probably didn’t expect this many people and were overwhelmed. Wrong almost all the seats where reserved they knew this many people where coming. It was very entertaining watching the two waiters and manager stand at the back like lost school girls as people wanted to order, wanted menus, and finally wanted to sit down. You’d think that they’d realize it’s busy and work twice as hard? Nah they just decided f-it they’ll have to walk over to the back and ask us for a menu and then pray to god we accidentally walk past ur table so you can beg them to order. It was so sad, people that came in at the start of the first period didn’t even get their order taken by the end of the game, most people ordered before the game started and got there food as the game was ending I could go on and on how pathetic the staff was but I won’t. Now next segment attempting to pay was a disaster, and the manager tried to scam us. Game ended oilers lost, so everyone wants to leave but guess what, the waiters and managers don’t care. I get up ask for the bill, “okay 15 minutes” which is insane but whatever, 15 min go by and they maybe went to one table and had them pay. So I go up and ask how much the bill is I’ll leave the cash on the table I want to leave. They said that’s not allowed but told me what my bill was, now I go back to my table and me and my 4 friends calculate how much our meal was, this manager lied to us about the bill and tried to upcharge us 20$. So we calculated our bill left the exact amount and walked out. We know for a fact he lied because we went over our bill item by item and told us the amount at the end.
For fun we drove back and hour later and I 100% kid you not people where still in there from earlier waiting.
I have never in my life seen such awful management awful staff and awful planning.
After that manager tried to sneak himself a cash tip I’ll never be back.
However if you go on a not busy day which is 99% of the time they’re quick and have great food. But I just thought...
Read moreAlright, another location on our quest to find a good wing place. I'll lay out how the evening played out. We arrived around 5:40 and sat down. They had the blinds open but none of the lights above the tables were on which became more noticeable as the evening progressed. We asked if they had a highchair and were politely informed they only had 1 in the entire restaurant and it was already in use. Seems a bit odd to only have one, but it wasn't the end of the world. 5:55 rolls around and we are finally able to order. 15 min isn't a crazy amount to wait, but it feels a lot longer when you. Don't have any drinks or water and you're just sitting and waiting. We were the informed that they had no draft beer available which would have been nice to know when we got there, but it is what it is . Orders go in and it's a 20 min till we get out bottles of beer and a few fountain pops. 15 more min. Go by and the food starts to arrive. Food is hot and quite delicious, not a single complaint about the wings or fries. We did not receive one of the orders of fries but there were so many between all of us that we didn't even bring it up (I'd assume they would have brought us the missed order if we mentioned it) We finish is about 30 min which brings us to around 7:00. It then takes about 30 min. Of waiting for the bill which we decided to individually go up and let the server know what we had so that we could split the bill (hoping to make it easier so we could finally leave) as she didn't seperate anything when we were ordering, like most places do when we go out as a big group. Not a big deal really, but we were really wanting to get out of there as it had been a long time already. At about 740 the lights finally went on, which would have been great if we weren't all leaving. The server was nice and patient and besides the one order of fries, everything was exactly what we ordered. We only saw one other staff member about 3 times the whole night. I guess I'd expect there to be more staff when it's a wing deal evening. They also had a sign advertising a 5$ bottle of Sol, but there was also a different sign saying it was $5.50. I don't know what we got charged and I was just wanting to leave so I didn't ask for a bill to be printed out so that I could check and see. Just something for any future visitors to keep in mind. If you have a lot of time in the evening and want a long drawn out dinner, then you'll probably be happy here. As for our group, over 2 hours for wings and beer is just too much and we will...
Read moreThe manager Jenny served me and my son today. The food was great, good portion and fresh. The customer service I won’t say was bad, because she did come to ask us how the food was tasting halfway through, and did her job, but not great that’s for sure. We came in and there was no one in the restaurant for 2-3 minutes and I had to ask for a table for two when she finally came out. She put her hands up instead of asking “table for two?”, Before I asked for a table. This was a tad unwelcoming. After viewing the 101 flavours I asked if instead of the dry rub if they had just normal hot wings with the liquid seasoning on them, and she was very rude and gave me a look and said “ you mean hot sauce?” I think that was a little uncalled for, didn’t have to scoff and give me the attitude. I didn’t know after having 101 flavours that plain hot sauce is what they use I was just trying to order. I asked if the classic wings had bread on them, and she kind of spoke to me like I was stupid and explained every type of wing on the menu when I just asked about the one. Like being passive aggressive after my “liquid seasoning question”. After that she startled us a few times by yelling, nothing rude just extremely loud and her voice echoed through the empty restaurant. And I’m not easily startled I’m actually half deaf in one ear from the army. So this can give you insight to the loudness. Also if you come here for wing Tuesday, make sure you read the fine print, I got a water, and I was not eligible for the deal. When I asked her about this she said yeah you need to order a drink for this, so I ordered a drink and she fixed the receipt, but still that’s the whole reason why we came is for the deal. I probably would come back, but maybe just for takeout because I was extremely...
