This Taco Bell is co-located with KFC. If I could, I would have given no stars for service. This KFC location always manages to disappoint in service so we avoid going there but today the kids wanted some Taco Bell so we went as it was along our way home. We thought we would go into the store instead of the drive-through as usually we get stuck in a long wait in the drive-through. My teen and I looked at the menu for a few minutes then went up to the counter to order. We were the only customers in the store. It was around 3:00 or 3:30 pm on Good Friday and there must’ve been close to 10 staff working. Staff all noticed us standing there and no one acknowledged us, even though several staff made eye contact. It looked like they were all busy working. Front end staff seemed to be serving drive-through customers. No food delivery people came into the store while we were there. We were simply ignored. Don’t staff get any training in customer service??? A nod, a smile, or some gesture to let us know they see us or will serve us soon would have been appreciated. I texted my husband who was in the car with my other kids that we were still waiting and he texted back that there was only one car in the drive-through. We waited a little longer and decided to go through the drive-through as we were still being ignored in store. We ordered and got our food in the drive-through and left. This experience is yet another confirmation to us, especially to my kids (potential future customers), not to go to KFC or any Taco Bell co-located with KFC.
One time we were at this location, they ran out of chicken at KFC during dinner time (!) and we were stuck in the drive-through for close to half an hour before we could leave. A staff member handed me a 10% off card at the window but we didn’t go back to this location for years.
A couple of years ago at the Albany location, we waited over an hour to order a small family fried chicken meal. They only had 2 staff working on Halloween evening and store wasn’t that busy. It appeared they first served customers with single orders and continued to push us to the end of their queue. They basically admitted this when they told us we had a big order…like really? We only ordered the smallest family meal for our family of 5. We were told to park and wait in front of the store in the shopping centre parking lot. My kids who waited with me in the parking lot grew hungrier by the minute and became anxious to get home and eat before Halloween night. They witnessed me going into the store to check on our order a couple of times during our more than hour long wait. They never want to go back to this location again.
Way to go KFC for turning off your future generation of customers and employees. We’ll be taking our business to your competitors Church’s, Mary Brown’s, Popeyes, Jollibee, and even local vendors who have better fried chicken and...
Read moreMy recent visit to Taco Bell was an absolute nightmare, marred by appalling cleanliness standards and a bathroom experience that I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy. From the moment I stepped foot into the establishment, it was clear that hygiene was not a priority.
The dining area was littered with trash, and tables were smeared with unidentified substances. It was a disheartening sight that immediately set the tone for what was to come. However, nothing could have prepared me for the horror that awaited me in the restroom.
Upon entering the bathroom, I was greeted by an overpowering stench that made my stomach churn. The sight before me was nothing short of revolting – there was feces smeared on the floor, toilet paper strewn about, and a general aura of neglect that made me question how such conditions could be tolerated.
The sink was clogged with grime, and the soap dispenser was empty, further highlighting the lack of basic maintenance. It was evident that the bathroom had not been cleaned in quite some time, and the thought of using the facilities was enough to make me lose my appetite entirely.
As if the state of the bathroom wasn't bad enough, the overall dining experience left much to be desired. The food was lackluster, with soggy tacos and lukewarm burritos that failed to live up to even the lowest of expectations. It was a far cry from the enticing offerings showcased in advertisements.
To make matters worse, the staff seemed indifferent to the deplorable conditions, showing little concern for customer satisfaction or basic cleanliness standards. It was a clear indication that Taco Bell prioritized profits over the well-being of its patrons.
In conclusion, my visit to Taco Bell was an utter disaster, marked by unsanitary conditions and a complete disregard for basic hygiene. I would strongly advise against dining at this establishment until significant improvements are made in cleanliness and overall...
Read moreReceived the worst customer service I have ever experienced!! Sunday March 20th around 6:30pm. We asked for chicken to be substituted for beef/bean on the cheesy chalupa and the manager told us that it couldn’t be done. When we mentioned that we had a beef allergy, all of a sudden she could substitute but it would cost us an extra dollar. We explained that other locations and when ordering on delivery services, the substitution has never been an issue, let alone an extra charge, the manager lied and said the company receive a memo that chicken substitutions were no longer allowed, but she could do it for the extra charge. We had driven out of the way to get Taco Bell so we went ahead with the order begrudgingly. We were handed our food by an employee and I asked for a copy of the receipt, but the manager had to step in and give the receipt. Before she even handed it to me, she went on a tangent about how she saved me some money by only charging 89cents instead of a dollar. I had to physically grab the receipt from her hand because she wouldn’t give it to me. I questioned why I was charge for extra sour cream (the 89cents) instead of chicken. She immediately raised her voice at me and said she was saving me money. I tried to ask if there was even a button on the til for her to charge me extra for the chicken(again, no other location has ever charged), but she kept cutting me off, not letting me speak and she was yelling at me! She had her head out of the drivethru window shouting at me because I was questioning why she made up a fake charge. How embarrassing that management had to start a screaming match. Worst customer experience I’ve ever received. I hope this location makes some changes to their management.
Side note- as we were sitting at the window waiting for our food, some other lady was talking to the employees about how they messed up her order and was...
