COBS Bread — Restaurant in Lake District

First there is no delivery from the Nameo Cobbs. There is no curbside pick up presently either. So I went in expecting to just pick up my order and leave - but that didn't work, I ordered large ham and cheese croissants and small ham and cheese croissants (the small ones only after the person taking the phone order asked me if I wanted the large one or the smell ones) They did not have the small ones. I ordered 4 small cinnamon buns, they tried to give me six boxes.Their cash register would not accept my six small chocolate croissants because they usually sell them in boxes of eight (not mentioned by the person who took the order)

It took my longer than it would have to walk in and shop. The people working there this morning were very nice and very apologetic but like another review I would NEVER order by phone again. Summary: Don’t trust their phone orders, they got ours wrong even after we confirmed several times

We placed an order over the phone for Gourmet Hamburger Buns for an event we were having. After getting the price we questioned them several times whether we were being quoted for Gourmet Hamburger Buns or Traditional Hamburger Buns, and they confirmed we were being quoted for Gourmet Hamburger Buns.

When we went to pick-up our order we were given Traditional Hamburger Buns instead, and of course the price they quoted us ended up being for the Traditional Hamburger Buns.

I would not recommend placing an order over the phone at this location, we were very clear about what we wanted and even questioned them when we thought there was a mistake. After being constantly reassured we were getting what we wanted, we still got the wrong item. Pick another...

I won't buy my bread anywhere else! Absolutely delicious. Only thing I would change is leaving the bread in the over for a light shorter time so it's softer. Other locations bread I've found to be softer but this is still go to location. I'm looking forward to checking it out after the new renovations! Friendly staff. Quick service.
