KFC — Restaurant in Langford

On my way home from work yesterday Tuesday August 15th 2023 my kids asked me to pick up some KFC for them. I stop at Belmont park (857 Terlane place unit 105 Langford B.C.) I drove through the drive through and ordered 6 of their Tuesday special for me and my 5 kids. One of the managers told me that he can only serve me one per order and I informed him that I'm buying it for my kids and he told me I would need to go home (which I live 35 minutes away) and come back with the kids before he can serve me for all of us. After returning to the store with all my kids, he told me that it's going to be a 20 minute wait before he served me (I think he was hoping that I would cancel my order) but I told him that i am ok to wait. After waiting for 15 minutes he then he came and told me it's going to be another 20 minutes, so we should go sit down and don't block the front. I found this odd and discriminating because (1) we where already standing to the side out of the way (2) we were the only Customer in the store until another customer came in 10 minutes later (3) other customers entered the store ordered and received there chicken while we were still waiting. (4) when got home to have our dinner we were very disappointed as the chicken was unerseasoned, soggy and uncooked. After staying away from KFC due to previous negative experiences, decided to give it 1 more chance. Went to Langford location at around 6pm on a Thursday night. You can tell the crew here loves their job, they take pride in service and the food is delicious. Ordered chicken, fries and coleslaw, the chicken is not greasy nor overly salted, was lightly battered yet tender and crunchy. It was amazing, rivals gourmet chicken places like chicken 649. The fries weren't greasy either, nice and fried on the outside yet fluffy on the inside. Perfect seasoning on the fries. The coleslaw is fresh, and tasty unlike my previous experience where it was slimy at the Douglas location. We dined in and the crew even came over and asked if everything is up to expectations, the kind of service you expect in a sit down restaurant. You can see in to the kitchen and it is clean and well organized. The crew jokes and communicate with each other, and seem to enjoy working together. Don't know if it's good management or just generally a good crew. Only complaint I have is that I ordered 16 pieces but only receive 14 pieces ( I counted it due to missing pieces at the last visit to Douglas location). The crew was apologetic and gave me 3 more pieces ( don't know if it's KFC's policy to give less or what?) Too bad I don't live close by, or else I will definitely be back...

One of the worst place and poor customer service. I love KFC Chicken specially spicy. I went there at 5pm on Saturday and ordered original recipes box dark and spicy.

Server went to the kitchen to confirm if they can be able to give me spicy chicken and they have confirmed that dark spicy is available. I was happy and waited more than 20min to get my order done.

Suddenly a lady has came with my order but I know sometime they put different meat than which costumer order, therefore I did open my box to check and found no dark meat.

I was totally disappointed. How come they have taken my order without knowing their food availability and telling me half an hour later that they don’t have dark spicy meat available. Even they did not mention before hand and I had to discover by open the box.

My question is how come you are running KFC if you have no experience to keep available product for your customers to satisfy them.

If you don’t care about your customers then close your business because you have no rights to giving pain to KFC loyal customers.
