KÒI noodle bar — Restaurant in Laval (administrative region)

Koi used to be our favourite spot. My kids love ramen and pho. Today my 12 yo son started feeling under the weather I decided to take him to his favourite Koi to have some grilled chicken ramen. We were seated and ordered spring rolls and soup . Shortly the waitress brought us a meal that had vegetables and deep fried chicken. When we mentioned that’s not what we ordered she said that’s the grilled chicken, exactly what we asked for and basically just turned around and left. I tried calling her, she completely ignored me. I didn’t know what to do since running after personnel is a bit weird. I came to the counter and asked to talk to someone and a nice gentlemen came out from the kitchen. I explained the situation meanwhile she came back yelling that I’m lying and told him to ask my son as a witness 😅🫣 He is 12 years old 😭 She was screaming it was embarrassing. Loosing hope to eat that ramen that we wanted I told them we don’t feel like staying and asked to bring me a bill for the spring rolls. I guess she printed a bill including that meal because when she gave it to that gentlemen from the kitchen he just threw it and apologized to me. She went again saying she saw on camera that I had a bite 😩 When I told her to show me the recording and if I actually took a bite I’ll pay her double she said she will only show it to the police. The gentlemen apologized many times and told me the spring rolls were free and we just left. I know mental health is important and believe her issues have to be adresses. Unfortunately I don’t know who the owner is to address privately. We would like to come back because the food is great but when the lady is not there. My son is...

I discover this place when I was looking to some ramen/pho type of food in the Laval area near the carrefour and I did NOT regret going to this place ! The person who serves us was very welcoming and make sure that everything is doing great 🥰 Food was amazing !! The karaage "accompagnement" entree was crispy and super good ! We wish they could give a little bit more in term of portion. My husband took a "Trois couleurs" grillades (beef, chicken and shrimp) and I took a Ramen rare beef I'm telling you, it was delicious 😋! I just wish the portion was a bit more for the grillades for the price we pay for (+24$ for his order) because the rice and meats ratio is less compared to the place we usually go to 😅 My ramen was super good , great portion as I end up having some leftover to eat later tonight !

The egg coffee and the strawberry mango smoothie were ❤️delicious❤️ !! We will totally come back again for the drinks for sureeeeee!!

The environment in the restaurant is so clean , beautiful and it's one of the best inside decor we've been! I was looking all the plants and the status decoration they have and I absolutely love it 💕💕💕

Overall we will come back again whenever we are in the area to try their others food on their menu !! Absolutely love this fusion...

Extremely unpleasant experience. The Ramen was not fresh at all , most ingredients were microwaved from what we saw right in front of us. And mostly the ramen or something in the restaurant had a very bad and vomit inducing odor.

The waitress was lacking communications skills and made a big mess of our order, She offered to charge me without making an invoice since there POS wasn't working. I mentioned to her that it was illegal to do so in Quebec and would like to speak with manager.

When I spoke with the manager he spoke to me in a very aggressive tone and impolite way. He said "Pourquoi tu veux pas payer" in an almost shouting tone.I told him "C'es pas que je veux pas payer mais il faut que vous me facturez correctement".

The restaurant also has a very strange way of ordering. The barely comprehensible waitress asks you to scan a QR code on your table and asks you to order through a portal which only accepts Credit Card as a payment option. After I mentioned this to the waitress she says to just do the order through her. A complete disaster.

Anyways despite the poor service we will not be coming just for the really poor quality...
