Please don’t ever eat here for your own personal health and safety! I came here for dinner with my boyfriend and we had a horrific experience. Our waitress did not speak one word of English and was extremely rude to us once she discovered we were Anglophone, the food quality was below average (the crab cakes) especially for the prices and finally the most DISTURBING part was finding a piece of GLASS in my burger meat! I took one bite of my food and instantly felt a sharp piece of broken glass in my mouth. I was terrified. Clearly someone in the kitchen broke something near the serving area and rather than throwing away the food, someone made the disturbing decision to serve it to paying customers. I was sickened and completely disgusted. The manager was apologetic and acknowledged the issue, he seemed embarrassed and offered to give us dessert or replace the meal, however we had already been so shaken up by the event that we decided to leave. The manager understood and told us we did not have to pay for our meals. Oh and the best part was when we decided to leave the restaurant because we had had enough after speaking to the manager and he comp’d our bill, the horrible waitress tried to accuse us of dining and dashing because she did not communicate with him or us ONCE throughout the entirety of our meal. This was laughable, offensive and an embarrassing way to treat clients who have already been completely turned off by your business. They should be disgusted by their service and the staff that the hire and by the way it is a basic skill in Quebec to communicate bilingually and serve clients in both French and English, just as I do at my job and everyone else doesn’t in this city! Be very careful going to Sterlings! I never would have expected to have this experience seeing as the reviews were fairly decent however, they clearly do not follow health and safety basic precautions and you will be very...

Service (Sofia) 95/100 She was Attentive, Polite, Understanding, Friendly and Patient
Noise: loud Too noisy because of the kitchen and we could hear all the silverwares
Location: Centroplis, great location
Speed: was okay, not too long They make sure to give us to bread and butter as soon as she came to talk to us
Chaudrée de Palourde: 85/100 Succulent and satisfying I am not a soup person but Chaudrée de Palourde is my sweet spot. This was good 👍🏽 this only thing the kitchen have to take into acclunt is to slow down on their ratio of salt
Fries: 80/100
Calamari: super SALTY 🧂 Crispy though 👌🏽 The spicy mayo sauce was no where near spicy The tomato sauce with the Calamari was a good match for it! 👌🏽 If it wasn't so salty it would get a 80/100 But since someone was trying to mimic the ocean, I am going to give it 35/100
Escargot: bon mais rien de fameux Cheese lover are going to love it! For first timers, it would be good With the crunchy bread it is really good 80/100
Baked potatoes: 30/100 blend!!! Ps: maybe if they put a dash of seasoning on it or shredded cheese it woyld get a higher grade. The chef needs to rethink about this one
Lamb: 75/100 there's room for improvement Tender, the rice wasn't the best but it was okay/fine. The asparagus was good and the mushrooms were succulent. Overall, I would recommend it was delicious! Cuisson: Medium Well
Papadella de filet mignon : 80/100 The meat was tender and tasty. Overall, the dish was flavorful and rich. The sauce need some improvement.
Steak Haché was supposed to come with the mashed potatoes but they kitchen was out of it. I had to settle for a blend baked potatoes and unwanyed fries (the fries were good) Steak was okay Cuisson: 😪 67/10
Filet Mignon 8oz was a disappointment 😞 It was eatable but not good 30/100

Read moreSterlings Steakhouse was an enjoyable time, despite some service hiccups.
I ate at this restaurant with a relatively large group for a bachelor party. We were made to wait for about an hour for our reservation with little to no explanation. After about 30 minutes, the host offered us a round of shots at the bar, which was a factor in why we waited so long.
However, after we were (finally) seated, the service was excellent. The waiters and staff attended our table with consideration. It was obvious that they really cared.
As to the food, the table mostly ordered their beef offerings. In short, it was delicious. Everyone really enjoyed their meals and gave excellent feedback, which is a rare thing. Their special prime rib was particularly fantastic. It was clear that the chef and staff really strived and cared about the experience, despite the initial long delay in seating.
A special note about the sides. The vegetables and mashed potatoes were very good, but the rice left something to be desired. The house salad with their lime dressing, was not to my tastes, but I can see the appeal for someone who likes Mexican-inspired food more than I. The main dishes were all excellent, but I did want to make this point on what side dish to order as well.
To round off the evening, there were some mistakes on the bills, which were quickly rectified. I think this is a good summary of the experience at Sterlings: excellent food and service despite some hiccups. Truthfully, it can be difficult to serve a table of 10+ people and the servers really went above and beyond. Looking back at the long delay, I'm not sure I would be happy if my table was forced out early for another party, so I can appreciate the difficult position that the restaurant was put in.
That was the experience at Sterlings. I look forward to going back, hopefully without the long...
